I was very impressed with Hugh, the Service Advisor who handled the diagnosis of some battery issues with my wife’s Prius. The conclusion the technician reached was that the vehicle probably just needs handled the diagnosis of some battery issues with my wife’s Prius. The conclusion the technician reached was that the vehicle probably just needs to be driven more regularly to ensure the battery stays charged sufficiently. I really appreciate the fact that Hugh did not push me to buy a trickle charger or replace the battery unnecessarily. I will definitely bring our Prius back to this dealership for future service needs. More
I easily found Adam Obeidat out front who immediately led me to the cars I was interested in. Not only did I wind up buying from him, he made himself available to sit with me in the car the next day and answ me to the cars I was interested in. I visited Folsom Lake Toyota. I am giving one star to the dealership and not to the service advisor. He did the best job and I really appreciate him for all the help. A few things that I have noticed: 1.Why all of a sudden the dealership has stopped washing the cars when we go for servicing. They do not even ask - they just do not wash and give reasons like the machine is not working or some rules. But it is very sad that they see their convenience and not of the customers. 2.Why all of a sudden you guys have started telling that the car needs oil change every 7000 miles (for full synthetic oil) and every 3000 miles for traditional? WHY SUCH A BIG CHANGE ALL OF A SUDDEN? Is it another way to earn more money? This is something I did not like at all, at least companies like Toyota and their authorized dealers should not be misleading customers so that they have to visit often and have to pay often to the dealership. 3.Their should be check list to check the donut tire pressure. 4.If I have changed my battery at the same Toyota dealership, shouldn't they at least clean up the connectors. If the battery is creating dirty coverings (or if they are corroded) on the connectors then the battery I bought from Toyota (True Start) might not be the best quality because I have seen batteries which do not create the corrosion and are clean. You can't randomly ask $42 to clean up the corrosion, you should clean it if they battery is being bought from you. 5. I feel rather than how you can get more money from customers, the goal should be to keep the customers happy. 6. Bundling something into 60 K maintenance package and charging customers, it should be explained if it is really really important and a break up should be provided for each service and the customer should be able to select what service he needs.
