Good service, but no tricking co-signers anymore had a nice review typed up and google messed up and deleted it. Going to shorten it. Gary from sales did a good job. Took me for a test drive and had a nice review typed up and google messed up and deleted it. Going to shorten it. Gary from sales did a good job. Took me for a test drive and didn't give off that fake persona vibe most salesmen do. Good guy. Tim Voskull from Internet Sales was amazing. He would always let you know what he's doing for you, would be honest with you, and was overall very helpful. He showed me how to drive my new stick shift car. This is the ideal salesman; not clingy, but nice, informative, helpful, and relaxed. This guy needs some recognition because he's great. Mike, the one who handled my financing, was alright. He and Gary tried to trick me into signing as a co-signer, which I don't appreciate, and I had to get stern to let them put me on line 1, but they did it. He manually called the banks and got me the same rate my co-signer would have gotten if they were on line 1. So for people in California who don't know, the main signer (line 1) and co-signer (line 2) have the same responsibility when it comes to the loan. What dealers will do is say it doesn't matter where you sign. They will have the co-signer, who has the better credit, sign on line 1 so they easily get a low rate, and have the actual person buying the car sign on the co-signer line, or line 2. In the end, the person who was going to co-sign, but got tricked into signing on line 1 owns the car. DMV registration will say that. It will be THEIR loan, not the person who actually wants the car. DO NOT LET THEM TRICK YOU INTO THIS. They just want to get a good rate easily. Still far better than Future Ford of Roseville, where I got called a dick by an employee. More

No hassle , no pressure, just look at it and see what you think. No hassle from the sales guys. Had a bad experience with a toyota senior sales person and so went back to Ford for a second look. Sales guy was really appreciative that I asked for him by name - very personable chap. Turned out to be a really positive experience. One of the things I liked the most is that we haggled over price before the ritual credit application. I hate it when they try to dupe you into filling all the credit forms before you discuss price. Seems like a cheap salesman tactic to make you feel obligated in an axiomatic sense. I am very pedantic over price points and they were very patient and forgiving even though it was already 9pm. Their patience in very much appreciated - not so for the Toyota guys. They seemed impatient and only wanted to get home after a quick and slap happy negotiation. Didn't appreciate much the ritual post sale deals to add warranty and maintenance but I guess that is par for the course. Couldn't see much sense in the warranty sales pitch it didn't seem to factor in much. Make sure the finance guy checks the warranty correctly and compares with their pitch for their own warranty. It doesn't seem to add up much given the 5 yr power train although the maintenance makes some sense. But overall a very positive low pressure sell environment. Sales guy was very helpful and also very personable. Definitely deserves Kudos (and probably his commission) for his overall comportment. One last note is that as we closed at 11pm I apologized for the inconvenience for the time and rather than remind me that it was late I was told that it doesn't matter - we are here for you!!! Maybe a cheap comment to make but the sentiment was certainly appreciated. much better than the attitude I had experienced from the Toyota sales people- who seemed arrogant and overly embroiled excellence and overall superiority of their vehicle. Kudos to these guys. A few holes in their sales knowledge would be is that 1 - there was a general fuzziness about maintenance schedules, could be better covered as it is important for consumers to know. 2 - at no point was the ford roadside service mentioned - seems like a hole in their pitch. I understand that it is 60K, 5 years and they should sell this a bit more as it is very competitive the the Toyota equivalent. Hope I don't have to use it.... apart from that not much negative to say about the Ford guys. Cheers More

I had the chance to meet the General Manager Jon Peterson and he is a professional. At the same time Rene Larsen. The best think about the store is the fact that the team is low key and no pressure. This was and he is a professional. At the same time Rene Larsen. The best think about the store is the fact that the team is low key and no pressure. This was the first time that I had the chance to actually visit the dealership and meet the staff. The inventory was plenty. I am confident that if you were in a market for a new Ford and you asked for Rene Larsen, you would have a great experience. More
I purchased a car from Folsom Lake Kia about 3 months ago. I have had nothing but problems. I was told one thing, then quoted something else, then lied to about what information I needed or did not need ago. I have had nothing but problems. I was told one thing, then quoted something else, then lied to about what information I needed or did not need to disclose. After signing my 1st contract (YES i said FIRST) I was called back in and told that my plan had to be changed, which raised my payments $200. No, that is not a typo $200. Yes, I should've walked away, but I was naive and desperate at the time. Upon requesting to discuss matters with a different employee because both my husband and I felt insulted we began talking directly to the bank in which we were receiving the loan. They informed us not only that information was missing, but that the dealership did not forward over a particular document that I specifically remember filling out. Now, 3 months later our stuff is FINALLY done being filed. Am I in the clear? Fat chance! My car now has 2 problems that need to be fixed. The warranty that they said was "practically bumper to bumper" still is leaving us paying hundreds to fix! DONT GO HERE! RUN! RUN AWAY! More
I bought a new car at Folsom Lake Kia in June. Their incompetent finance dept lost my file and never paid off my trade. 4 months later after begging for info on where to send a payment I found out they incompetent finance dept lost my file and never paid off my trade. 4 months later after begging for info on where to send a payment I found out they didn't do anything with my file. I returned the car to them...what happened to my trade in? You guessed it - the bank they did not pay off (as they promised) reposed it. So now after their utter and complete incompetence, POOR customer service and zero communication I get to pay for a car that the bank sold and my credit is trashed. Thanks FLK. You wanna give em a go? Buyer beware...they are incompetent, lie, and could care less that they destroy your credit. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! More
