2013 VW Beetle TDI Service was excellent as always. I called ahead and got scheduled and then when I got there I took the shuttle driven by Foster to the outlet mall. Tires and more We recently had our Touareg in for the 30k service and it was noted tires had 4/32 tread left. (Side note that a 65 thousand dollar car should have be We recently had our Touareg in for the 30k service and it was noted tires had 4/32 tread left. (Side note that a 65 thousand dollar car should have better tires than a 30k Goodyear on it) The service personnel suggested tires and we asked for a price and if they price match and the dealer does! We then set up for new Michelin tires for the following week and did some price comparison with the caveat that SAMs/Walmart sometimes are quoting tires that aren't the same product so be very careful when price comparing at those locations. We did find a better price at Clarks Tires in Waynesville and with a manager ok they matched and we were thrilled! It's also noted that we had a $500 goodwill VW card that expired and so we used it at Harmony. The car rides better than new and the balance and alignment were perfect. Phillip was our service person but another in the service Dept finished us up. We are very happy with Harmony and hope to do our next trade with them if the Q7 comes into play in diesel. More

Great Follow Up! Essentially, the salesman found the car with the features I was looking for and worked efficiently to help make the purchase successful. I didn't feel there was unusual pressure to purchase even though the car was attractive and would probably be sold very soon to another buyer. Being one of the first of the new models for 2017, the discount was not as much as I anticipated but was acceptable and over the long run will not be very costly as I tend to keep cars for a long time. This is my third Passat and the first two have been excellent cars and have met my needs. More
Bait and Switch I talked to a salesperson about buying a used Beetle. I was told a used one just came in and it was $9,000. She was fired so I lost contact. I then ta I talked to a salesperson about buying a used Beetle. I was told a used one just came in and it was $9,000. She was fired so I lost contact. I then talked to someone who took her place. He was very nice, but the finance person was rude and awful. That same car never made it to their lot, but the new price was $11,000 and was out being fixed. Then another one came up on their site. It never made it to their lot either, but I was told it was in transit and the other was sold. This one was 4k over book value and then they told me that instead of 20% down, now it was close to 50% down for this car, however they could put me in a subaru for less than 10% down. I was never interested in a subaru and they knew this. I believe they list cars in their inventory they will never have to get people in the door. They also tried to put me in a 2016 Jetta. They only want to get rid of 2016's because they 2017's were in and will do a lot of shady stuff including bait and switch tactics on imaginary inventory. Go anywhere but there. Go to another state if you want a Bug. More
Good experience First time purchasing a vehicle at a dealership. Contacted Ron the night before to make sure the vehicle was still available before making a 4 hour d First time purchasing a vehicle at a dealership. Contacted Ron the night before to make sure the vehicle was still available before making a 4 hour drive the next day to check it out. Ron answered all questions and made sure to cover everything. He also set me up with financing that was lower than my loan I had acquired for the purchase. Chris went over everything with the title, financing, and extended warranty with me and also answered all questions that I had. While I was with Chris, Ron went and got t-shirts and bumper stickers for us. The experience took a little longer than expected, but my case was also unique and it had no impact on the sale or my view of anyone. Dealership was clean and had refreshments. Every customer that came in was immediately addressed by an employee. Thank you Ron and Chris for the experience. More
