I have been using Umansky Subaru for at least five years both to purchase new Subarus and service them. I have had nothing but excellent experiences. I highly recommend them. both to purchase new Subarus and service them. I have had nothing but excellent experiences. I highly recommend them. More
I did not feel welcome or valued. I waited 1 1/4 hours for what was essentially an oil change and had to call from the waiting room to find out if the car was ready. My earlier text to Juan was ignored. although I was sitting at the dealership, my husband was emailed about the work being completed, and this was AFTER I had picked the car up. No-one went through the details of the work with me, or barely spoke to me. More
Very easy to schedule service, and all personnel are friendly and professional. Work has always been done correctly, with no attempts at added services and charges. friendly and professional. Work has always been done correctly, with no attempts at added services and charges. More
Normally a great service experience at this dealership. Not so yesterday. Informed that I needed new tires and rear brakes (not surprising, knew it was coming from my last service, and it was time). Couldn Not so yesterday. Informed that I needed new tires and rear brakes (not surprising, knew it was coming from my last service, and it was time). Couldn’t get an alignment for my new tires as the “machine is broken” and no one could figure it out. The real problem was that someone must have spilled oil during the oil change, because a few mile down the road the car started smoking tremendously. And they knew that they did it, but didn’t tell me. I could tell because they returned the car to me with the windows down and the a/c blasting to try to remove the smell. They’ve never done that before. And the tech wouldn’t look at me for some reason while he was handing it over. Next time, just tell me that you spilled oil. I figured it out, but I shouldn’t have to. And it doesn’t make me feel good about the quality of the work. Additionally, don’t leave lubricant all over my new tires; new tires should be at least cleaned if not dressed for the customer. Like I said, normally a great experience at this dealership, and I’ll be back for future service. Hopefully this was just a bad day… More
Advised on previous visit that I needed tires, brakes and rotors. Scheduled the service. Kept advised of progress and texted when completed, very neat promised time. I brought my car in for an oil change. The service rep asked if I wanted an oil change and tire rotation (the website had a price for just an oil change). I said that the car didn't really The service rep asked if I wanted an oil change and tire rotation (the website had a price for just an oil change). I said that the car didn't really need a tire rotation due to low mileage since the last oil change, but if I was going to be charged for it anyway, go ahead and do it. When I picked the car up I noticed that I was charged the full price, and the rep had written "customer states do not rotate tires". Not sure where he got that that idea, since it was the exact opposite of what I had actually said. Umansky needs to let the customer see what the rep has actually written on the service order and sign off on it when the car is dropped off for service. Now I'm a bit peeved that I paid for a tire rotation that didn't actually happen. I'll still recommend them because this is the first time I've been unhappy, but I will also know to watch them like a hawk in the future. More
Another good experience with the service dept. They were up front on costs and options. I did not get a reminder sticker on the window for an oil change and Chris took care of that right away.
