I ended up being towed 36 mile to Brown Subaru on a Friday early evening. Service was closed until Monday but sales staff helped us get situated & were very curious & friendly. On Monday I was able to speak with April Powell, service advisor & asked for a status update. Turned out my radiator sprung a leak & my QVS device was bad but parts needed to be ordered & didn't come in on Tuesday as expected. I would have liked to have received calls from April more often regarding my car but I put this off to my impatience & being stuck in a distant city. My car was ready on Wednesday & they did a great job & were all very nice. I just stopped by often to check on my car since I had plenty of time on my hands. When I move there in 2017 I'll buy my new Outback from them & will take my car to them for repairs. I've bought 2 Subaru's & have had very little trouble with them. Replacing a radiator at 72,800 is not unexpected when it's the only thing you've had go wrong. More
I purchased a 2013 Subaru Forester, in May 29 2013 for my wife, the sales associates and sales staff was great. The sales staff was very knowledgeable, and didn't pressure us to buy at all. After that is when our experience turned around; the service department is a horrible, horrible with service to the car, as well as customer service. We have had to call on multiple occasions to get an update on our car, they never call us with an update, and most of the time we have to call a second time due to them not returning a call in the timeframe they tell us. We had purchased an extended warranty through Brown Subaru, on the paint and interior of the car since we have dogs, and there are a lot of pine trees where we park the car, so we purchased the package that covered interior and paint to include tree sap. When we took the car in for its second oil change, roughly six months later, we informed them that we had sap that we would like removed. We were informed that the protective coating had never been applied to the car, the coating we had been paying for since we purchased it. They informed us that since they never applied it that they would have to get the sap off then apply the coating, shouldn’t take long we will have the car back by the fourth. We finally got informed we could pick up the car at 5:00PM on the 27th of December, there was still sap on the car, and our radio didn’t work. They currently have the car back, and awaiting them to give us an update. More

We came to take a look - and ended up driving the exact car we wanted off the lot a couple of hours later. Product and finance issues were handled with thorough competence. I had a great experience at Brown Subaru. All of the staff were incredibly friendly—even the folks that weren't working with me directly—and they made me feel as though they really valued my business. Christian took the time to explain everything to me carefully, and did a great job of showing me all of the features on the car I bought (as well as the other model I was considering). I also felt that he and Dave gave me a very fair price, both for the new car and for my traded in vehicle. As a woman coming into the dealership alone, I didn't know what to expect, as I've heard some horror stories about other car company dealerships. I needn't have worried, as the staff at Brown were exemplary in every way. There was no hard sell or pressure at all; they made me feel confident and in control every step of the way. I had never financed a car or any other large purchase before, but they made the whole process so easy. They explained all of the details to me and made sure I was happy. The fact that they can take care of the whole registration process as you buy the car is amazing too—no need for me to wait around at the DMV. I've always had great experiences taking my previous Subaru to the service center at Brown as well, so I feel really confident that they'll help me take great care of my new Subaru as well. More

Fast service! Friendly service people. Easy to make appointments, which can be done on-line. Subaru notified us of a recall and Brown Subaru quickly took care of the problem.
