Had taken my vehicle in for an airbag recall 2 months ago , they damaged the glove compartment, manager wasn’t available to sort the issue ,probably too busy to call back his customers and fix their problems , they damaged the glove compartment, manager wasn’t available to sort the issue ,probably too busy to call back his customers and fix their problems.God knows why these dealerships even have managers who are busy with their own personal lives that it doesn’t matter if the customer is right or wrong , satisfied or not , here I am 2 months later no call , no email or even an apology for $80 damage.very unethical service crew was treated with discrimation , hope the right change comes around soon.and everybody to be respected and taken care of regardless of names and skin tones! I went into Brown Subaru and talked to sales & leasing consultant: Shawn Kennedy. He was very helpful, honest, professional and very pleasure to deal with. At first I bought a used 2015 Honda CRV but I didn't enjoy it. I went back to Brown Subaru three days later and talked to Shawn about it. He helped me out and found a perfect car for me. Now I am driving a 2017 Honda CRV. He had to back track the previous purchase and work it out with Brown Honda since Subaru didn't have the color of the vehicle that I wanted. He is very experience and easy to work with. I will definitely recommend Shawn to my friends and family when they go to Brown Subaru for a new purchase. Great experience and purchase. More

This is my 2nd Forester so I've known April a few years and have also come to know the professional, capable, and friendly service she and the staff provide. In my absence, she advocated for my interests in resolving a replacement part issue and, as a result, I was extended a generous customer assistance offer by Subaru. A stated goal of the service department is to provide excellent customer satisfaction - I appreciate that once again April and the staff so ably accomplished that for me. More

I know that alot of people these days tend to stay away from dealership service due to over price or whatever the reason may be but with me I usually always go through Browns for anything I need. Only by happenstance On our wat to Charlottesville, VA to explore fit or retirement (rated one of top 10) my 2007 Legacy check engine light was on. I ended up being towed On our wat to Charlottesville, VA to explore fit or retirement (rated one of top 10) my 2007 Legacy check engine light was on. I ended up being towed 36 mile to Brown Subaru on a Friday early evening. Service was closed until Monday but sales staff helped us get situated & were very curious & friendly. On Monday I was able to speak with April Powell, service advisor & asked for a status update. Turned out my radiator sprung a leak & my QVS device was bad but parts needed to be ordered & didn't come in on Tuesday as expected. I would have liked to have received calls from April more often regarding my car but I put this off to my impatience & being stuck in a distant city. My car was ready on Wednesday & they did a great job & were all very nice. I just stopped by often to check on my car since I had plenty of time on my hands. When I move there in 2017 I'll buy my new Outback from them & will take my car to them for repairs. I've bought 2 Subaru's & have had very little trouble with them. Replacing a radiator at 72,800 is not unexpected when it's the only thing you've had go wrong. More
I purchased a 2013 Subaru Forester, in May 29 2013 for my wife, the sales associates and sales staff was great. The sales staff was very knowledgeable, and didn't pressure us to buy at all. After that is when our experience turned around; the service department is a horrible, horrible with service to the car, as well as customer service. We have had to call on multiple occasions to get an update on our car, they never call us with an update, and most of the time we have to call a second time due to them not returning a call in the timeframe they tell us. We had purchased an extended warranty through Brown Subaru, on the paint and interior of the car since we have dogs, and there are a lot of pine trees where we park the car, so we purchased the package that covered interior and paint to include tree sap. When we took the car in for its second oil change, roughly six months later, we informed them that we had sap that we would like removed. We were informed that the protective coating had never been applied to the car, the coating we had been paying for since we purchased it. They informed us that since they never applied it that they would have to get the sap off then apply the coating, shouldn’t take long we will have the car back by the fourth. We finally got informed we could pick up the car at 5:00PM on the 27th of December, there was still sap on the car, and our radio didn’t work. They currently have the car back, and awaiting them to give us an update. More
