My wife had a minor accident with our '03 Corvette last year, and the body shop restored it to better than when we bought it! Last spring we bought a new Ford Escape from Flood Ford in East Greenwich. Chris DeFruscio helped us select the vehicle and we got a great deal and we are so happy with our Escape. So when my wife decided to buy a new car for me for Christmas, she called Chris and he helped her surprise me with a new Fusion. It was such a positive experience. We received prompt and friendly service from sales representative Ken Wylie while purchasing a used car for our son in this past month. The price was fair and it was ready immediately. He also noticed that the driver door handle was not working properly and had ordered a replacement before we picked it up. It was replaced within a week. He has also followed up with us to make sure we are enjoying the car. We also purchased a new F150 from Ken a couple of years ago and received the same attention and excellent service. Michelle was very good and supportive on-line. I cannot hear to talk on the phone and she connected us with M. Coleman. Mike was also very understanding of my hearing problem. Chris DeFruscio made the entire car purchase easy. I basically bought a car without my husband for the first time ever. Everything was explained in detail and was easy to understand. I was refered to the dealer by a friend, and I have never looked back. I have had may experiences with sales, recently making my second purchase in 3 years. Any issues that have risen have been taken care of promptly by the service team. Flood Ford EG, is the only place my car is serviced, the extended service hours, service while you wait are a few of the reasons that I return. My husband and I had the WORST experience at this dealership ever! We went in to buy a used SUV as we are expecting our first child. He knew little to nothing about any of the models we were interested in and couldn't answer any of our questions. After deciding we like the Kia Sorrento, we asked if we could take it to our private mechanic to look at it, since it was an older vehicle. They agreed. When we came back with a few safety concerns, they refused to fix any of them! Saying that they can sell it as is. So there is some poor sole out there that is going to buy this vehicle and have to sink $2000 worth of repairs into it shortly after purchase because Flood's body shop does not do an adequate job assessing their vehicles, nor do they care if they sell a sub-par vehicle. I came into Flood Ford East Greenwich to get my wifes car (2009 Ford Fusion) serviced. It just so happened that I was having difficulty with my old 2003 Ford Ranger (upper ball joints were going). I met Ke (2009 Ford Fusion) serviced. It just so happened that I was having difficulty with my old 2003 Ford Ranger (upper ball joints were going). I met Ken who immediately took me out to look over the fleet of vehicles. He quickly assessed my needs through a series of very thorough questions. The truck he showed me fit my requirements to a tee! The only thing that I wish it had was serius radio, but that I will have installed at the dealership on a later date. My wife also met Ken and told me she was stunned at how comfortable and at home Ken made her feel. Her last experience at a dealership was pretty bad (pushy/rude salesman). Ken's knowledge and cool demeanor coupled with his genuine attitude have changed my wifes opinion on car dealers. I can't thank Ken enough for his assistance! As I said in a previous survey, he should be nominated "Flood Ford Salesman of the Year!". More
