I purchased a "New" 2010 Ford Expedition Limited leftover in August 2011. I made the deal over the phone from Pennsylvania. I questioned how a 2010 was still around this late and asked if it was damaged and told "No". After I had the car a couple weeks I noticed that the drivers side passenger door closed with an odd sound. When I looked closer I noticed that the paint was different, the door was chafing the drivers door, and the interior molding dipped at the top. When I removed the molding I could see that the track that holds the molding was damaged. I checked with the local body shop and asked what he thought and he said clearly either at the factory or the deelership the vehicle was damaged and repaired. I sent an email and received no response. Then I resent it and was told "we dont sell damage vehicles as new". The manager called me and said just take it to your local dealer and have him fix it under warranty. I told him I asked if it was damaged and told No and I purchased a NEW vehicle and wanted him to make it right by exchanging the vehicle. He said he would look into it. He called later to say he could not see anything in the vehicles history. History or not its damaged, I told him. He said there was nothing he could do since I had too many miles on it. In the end they did nothing and only offered warranty to repair this damaged vehicle. I even offered later to just trade it in and they again did nothing. More
Overall one of the better experiences I’ve had buying a car. I have some history with the dealership and am happy to see them flourishing. Everything was clean, well laid out and very impressive. Mr Lancia is a very good and likeable salesman and really has the pulse of the customer allong with being a pleasure to do business with. If you are looking for a quality vehicle with outstanding customer service this is the place to go.. The dealership is also very clean and always has plenty of vehicles to choose from..
