As personally explained by both our Service Manager Eric Lacey, and Service Advisor Kyle Robillard, it is our responsibility to make each customer aware of any potential diagnostic charges, previous to bringing their vehicle into our shop. Although your F-150 is still under the manufacturer warranty, we cannot be 100% certain your concerns are covered, until we diagnose and confirm the faulty component(s). Of course once a manufacturer defect is confirmed, the repair would be covered under warranty. Being a Service Advisor yourself, I am sure you are able to understand and respect our process.
