My 2017 MB E-Class recently experienced what could be considered catastrophic engine failure. My car was only a few months out of warranty (45K miles) and was now in need of a new engine. I explained t considered catastrophic engine failure. My car was only a few months out of warranty (45K miles) and was now in need of a new engine. I explained to my service advisor (John Clough) that I did not have an extended warranty on my vehicle. My service advisor spoke with the service director (Curtis Cherry) and agreed to cover the engine replacement at no cost to me. This completely floored me as I have never fathomed an outcome like this. As you can imagine the cost of replacing an engine is astronomical...the fact that my dealership loyalty was rewarded by them covering the engine replacement is just an incredible gesture. Not sure how high up this goes but this sort of customer service/experience needs to get to the upper echelons of the MB corporation. Thanks again for this gracious gesture...this dealership has gone above and beyond! More
