Administratively dysfunctional I waited 2 months to write this review in the hopes that my experience would have improved. Alas, it hasn't. The initial reaction was overall positi I waited 2 months to write this review in the hopes that my experience would have improved. Alas, it hasn't. The initial reaction was overall positive. Our Sales Person was VERY new and while I would have appreciated someone more confident in their knowledge. He was quite friendly and professional. The initial frustration came when I was signing the lease paperwork. This is my 4th leased vehicle. I was not signing a financial waiver with lease terms with the sales rep before the lease document was even shared with me. I explained that several times and recommended that they share the lease terms with the buyer BEFORE asking them to sign a waiver indicating I accept the lease terms. At this time, I was assured they would handle the transfer of personalized plates without my intervention. Next, I had an appointment scheduled with a BMW Genius to review questions about the tech interface. I waited 30 minutes for the appointment. I called the dealership only to be told the Geniuses were busy and someone would call me later. I figured it out myself as to not waste additional time. The original commitment was that the dealership would handle the transfer of my personalized plates. That was incorrect. I learned this after calling 2 weeks later to ask for a status update. I was then informed that they couldn't do it. I indicated that I would have appreciated a call with this update. I was informed that the NJ plates would be delivered to my home. I called again a week later to be told that the plates were delivered to the dealership. The sales rep kindly offered to bring the plates to my home. However, the dealership only put 1 of the 2 required tag holders on the car. The sales rep then needed to take my car for a 1/2 day to have the 2nd bracket put on; only to return the car without even a full detail for the inconvenience. I spent an additional week understanding what paperwork was needed to conduct the transaction. The dealership filed on my behalf. This evening, my paperwork was returned to my be the DMV as the information provided by the dealership on how to transfer the plates was incorrect. In short, despite the value of the deal, I would be very hesitant to work with this dealership again due to administrative failures. More
