We live about five minutes from another Subaru dealership in the Metroplex, but chose to do business here, even though it is >25 miles from home. We purchased a new 2017 Subaru Forester The dealership as a whole is awesome: spotless facility, even the repair bay. I love what they do in terms of supporting animals (like having a pet adoption day). They have a nice kitchen area with drinks and snacks for customers. But what really sets the dealership apart is the people. We dealt with Dustin Cox of the internet sales department. He was low key, professional and - most important - listened well and tried to focus on my needs, not just "pushing" a specific vehicle. I had a very narrow range of cars in mind (color, trim, etc.) and Dustin tried to be as helpful as possible. He responded very quickly by text and email when I reached out to him. Once we finally honed in on a specific car, he arranged for a test drive - having the car ready. After the sale, Subaru doesn't just send you away. Dustin spent nearly an hour going over the features of the car, and they scheduled a follow up in a couple of weeks. He continues to check in and make sure we are satisfied. All in all, this dealership is a major step above the others that I considered. More

Freddie in finance was great, too - no stress or pressure there, either! Stephen was the one who approved the great deal we got for the lease and was there to make sure everything went well. No high pressure sales tactics. Very down to earth and friendly. He spent a great deal of time walking my wife through the apps. We purchase a Subaru Crosstrek which came strongly recommended by Vehicle Safety Lawyer Todd Tracy in Dallas. Tracy sues car manufacturers for safety defects that cause serious injury or death in car accidents. He praises the Crosstrek as one of the most crashworthy vehicles on the road today. If you need to buy a Subaru, go to Five Star Subaru! I have been comparing a Subaru Outback with a Kia Sorento. Visited a couple of Kia dealers and also other Subaru dealers. When I visited Five Star w I have been comparing a Subaru Outback with a Kia Sorento. Visited a couple of Kia dealers and also other Subaru dealers. When I visited Five Star without an appointment, Dustin Cox was assigned to me. Although he was new to Subaru then, he explained everything about the Outback. He had previous experience in selling Kia cars. So he objectively explained the details of both vehicles. I finally decided to purchase Subaru Outback and I am happy that I did. When I was ready to purchase, I contacted Dustin by phone text and he worked with me diligently and provided me with the car I wanted and the price agreed to was good too. When I went to the dealership to take the delivery, Dustin had all the paper work was ready. He was very through in explaining the process of purchase. There were no surprises. Business process was done by Bill Alton and it was also a very pleasant experience. Dustin introduced me to the service people and explained how to get the service scheduled. After I got the keys to the car, Dustin spent a lot of time explaining the controls and adjustment features of the Outback. Purchasing my Outback at Five Star Subaru was a very pleasant experience. He had ready answers for all of my questions, and was informative without being over-informative or pushy. I would recommend him to friends or family looking to buy a new car. The showroom and offices are bright, clean, and well-appointed. Dustin rates 5 stars, but I can't quite bring myself to grant that fifth star to the dealership. The sales manager was a little pushy with the service contracts, and I was disappointed with the lack of seating for fat guys like me. Poor Dustin was stuck with dragging around a flimsy little chair from the employee break room, because all other customer seating had arms too narrow for my hips. Considering the reputation for roominess that Foresters have been garnering, it might be worthwhile for the dealership to invest in a sturdy, armless chair or two. Having seat-belt extenders available would be appreciated, but at least they gave me an "adjustment" on the price to compensate, so no points lost there. I am LOVING my new Forester, and I'll be coming back to Five Star Subaru for maintenance and service. In summary, an excellent experience with a personable, easy-going salesperson, and JUST shy of five stars for the overall experience. More
