I had my Volvo S60 serviced at Feilds Volvo of Highland Park several months ago. The service costed me $6,500.00. When we took the car home it was not any better then when we took it in. I'm sorry I'll take that back, the car had 4 new tires. When we took the car back, they wanted to charge us another $2,000.00 to fix the same problem with the car. Wow, they were nice enough and lowered the price to $1,600.00 NOW REMEMBER FOR THE SAME ISSUE THAT THEY ALREADY CHARGED US $6,500.00. After paying additional $1,600.00, on the way home we noticed the car had the same issue AGAIN. Now we are $8,100.00 in the hole for a car that is worth only $8,500.00 per Kelly the blue book. By now we were steaming... Immediately from the car on the way home from the service department, I called the bank and put a stop payment on the check. Now Feilds Volvo of Highland Park is threatening us with a law suit for putting stop payment on the check. As I said it has been several months and they have not done anything. In the mean time we took the car to another Volvo dealership for service. They finally fixed the car. However this service costed us another $2,700.00. GUESS WHAT, NOW I'LL BE TAKING FEILDS VOLVO TO COURT!!!! Yes $10,800.00 later the car finally is fixed. I'm sorry I could not have gone through the details of the repairs because of the lawsuit.... O by the way, the car was purchased and always servised by Feilds Volvo. Those records will be reviewed also More
I was introduced to this dealership via the Costco Auto Purchase Program, which is a great way to purchase a new vehicle (another discussion). From the first in-person encounter after the initial email contact, I was pleasantly greeted by the general manager, Pat Hubert, sales manager, Rene Chavez, and salesperson, Zoar Avni. I came prepared with questions and car seats in order to test out the fit for my 3 children, and Zoar was utterly fantastic, patient, and knowledgeable. Despite having a 1.5 year-old and 3 year-old along with us evaluating the vehicles, Zoar was incredibly helpful with the children. My wife and I were even able to test-drive an XC90 R-Design during a snow storm, and it was perfect. Although we were testing other vehicles that day, they were not pushy about completing the sale, and encouraged my wife and I to return for a second and third look. We had a specific configuration in mind, and Pat was able to quickly locate the exact model we wanted. We were able to discuss other options and accessories over the course of a few days, and Zoar was very prompt in answering our questions and coordinating our requests over the phone and via email. They were able to give competitive pricing on financing and extended warranties. We received our 2011 XC90 a few weeks later, and the entire staff was very helpful in prepping and demonstrating the vehicle in an efficient manner, including a meeting with the future mechanic that will be performing service. Zoar and Rene have followed up with us after the sale, and Zoar has remained very accessible to our needs. In fact, the XC90 was recently in an accident (within 3 weeks of purchase) and I contacted Zoar for a reference on a repair shop and replacement parts. His first concern was to make sure that my family was well, but he was also able to obtain the information I needed immediately. Zoar is the real deal - he does not procrastinate and makes sure that all your needs are met. Without hesitation. I look forward to the new location, as it is closer to my home and looks great. I would not hesitate to refer any of my friends or colleagues to Fields Volvo. More

Steve is a very friendly and honest guy. He is very patient and always willing to help. The weather was horrible the day we went to the dealership but he accompanied us to see different models/colors i patient and always willing to help. The weather was horrible the day we went to the dealership but he accompanied us to see different models/colors in the parking lot without hesitation despite the strong wind and heavy rains. When we weren't able to complete the financial part of the process and take the new car out the first time because of a title issue, everyone was so discouraged but Steve continues to stay positive and was very professional and courteous to us. He even helped us to move our stuffs from the new car back to our own car and put back our license plate to our existing car (again under horrible weather) and promised to deliver a resolution to our title issue which he did the following business day. More

Last week on recommendation of my grown son we visited Field's Volvo in Highland Park. It was quite a trek for us as we live almost 50 miles southwest of Highland Park. We had been in search of a good, reliable mid-size car. With the help of the staff at Field's Volvo we did make a purchase of a 2003 Honda Accord. I can't say enough about the attentiveness of all we came in contact with. Had such a positive experience, we deemed it very worth the miles we covered roundtrip. All the staff were extremely helpful and seemed genuinely interested in helping fit the right car to our needs. We enjoyed the smooth ride as we drove it over the weekend. I took special note of the listening skills of those we worked with. Excellent experience! More
I have bought 4 cars from the Fields Auto Group .. 1 Infiniti and 3 Volvos. Since my first purchase at Fields Volvo more than 10 years ago, I have never even considered going to any other dealer. I know from my dealings with Fields Volvo that they stand behind their cars and their service. They are an honest and reputable partner with which to do business. They always deliver on time and do what they have promised. I wish more companies were like them. My most recent experience was the purchase of my new XC60 from Fields Volvo, with Roger Martinez as my sales consultant. Roger is the perfect sales person for me -- he is extremely knowledgeable, honest and patient. He answered all of my numerous questions and he explained things about the 3 models that I was considering very well. He never pressured me. I have come in numerous times to have my new car hand washed and Roger always comes over to see how I am and to see if I have any questions about the car. He has patiently explained the GPS and phone system to me (a few times!) and he always wants to be sure that I am thrilled with my car (I am!!) Roger epitomizes what it means to be Customer Focused. A little side story -- Shortly after I bought my XC60, I was looking for a (much less expensive) car for my daughter. I called Roger for his opinion and he again was extremely helpful and his wealth of knowledge helped us make the right decision for my daughter's car. Even though he was not going to benefit from that purchase, he spent a lot of time with me and I felt as though a good friend was giving me great advice. I truly appreciate all of the help Roger has given me – both with my car purchase and my daughter’s. I have recommended Roger and Fields Volvo to many of my friends. I can't imagine buying a car from anyone except Roger. More
This is our second certified Volvo purchase; the first from Fields Volvo. We reviewed prices and availability for a number of weeks from all the Chicago-land Volvo dealers and Fields had the best selecti from Fields Volvo. Although we live nearly 60 miles away, it was worth the drive. As we had already done research ahead of time, we were fairly knowledgeable of what we were looking for and what we expected to spend. The car was clean and appears in good condition. Steve and Maria were both accommodating during the sales process. We were slightly disappointed after less than a week when our low tire pressure indicator came on. After filling up the tire and having the indicator come on again after a day, we realized there was obviously a problem with the tire. Rene Chavez (Sales Manager) happened to call me that night to ask about our sales experience, so I mentioned the tire issue (as well as an intermittent lock issue and a missing bulb). He had the service department call me that night and with Rene's help, they went out of their way to make sure my schedule was accommodated for a service appointment. The service staff, including Chris O'Toole, were very helpful and professional. I was provided a loaner car and the work was completed the same day. Rene also made a point to meet with me to make sure everything was taken care of. Everyone truly seemed to go out of their way to turn what could have been a frustrating situation (being that it was a new car for us) into a positive one. More
