I have been a Fields Volvo customer since 1994 and could not be happier. I recently had my 2005 Volvo XC90 serviced and had a fantastic experience. I've been going to Fields Volvo service since 1998 when I bought my first V-70 wagon in Libertyville. For the past 14 years, I had my own personal mechanic (Bill) who took a special interest in my car when I bought my first V-70 wagon in Libertyville. I also have my own personal service advisor (Justin) who is courteous, professional and knowledgeable about Volvo. I appreciated the long trusting relationship that I have with Justin, the service department and the mechanics at Fields Volvo of Northfield. More
Rude and arrogant. I stopped in to look at a new Rude and arrogant. I stopped in to look at a new vehicle, and after showing interest in one, was approached by the Sale Manager. Not only was he rud Rude and arrogant. I stopped in to look at a new vehicle, and after showing interest in one, was approached by the Sale Manager. Not only was he rude and arrogant,but, he would not stop talking!! I thought he would get the hint when I looked at my watch several times, but that didnt work. I nearly fell asleep listening to him rant on and on about how good there reputation was, their competitive prices, and how well they treated their customers. REALLY??!!! When he finally stopped talking (zzzzzzzzzzzz) ..... I finally made an offer on the vehicle, he told me it would be hard to find this car for that price, told me I should continue to look elswhere, and walked away. SO, I DID Funny thing is, I was able to find the same vehicle for a much better price at another dealership. Apparently he doesnt like to do business as much as other dealers, because of the "HIGH VOLUME OF RETURN CUSTOMERS WE HAVE" (his own words) NEWS ALERT!!! It might be a good idea to not talk so much, and spend more time listening to your customers,instead of yourself. More
Steve was extremely helpful and took time to answer all our questions. On multiple visits, he always available even on his day off. Mark,Mike and Steve were very patient with me as I was on the fence about buying a car. I want to say that Mike was very good about researching info for me. This process took me several weeks. When I did decide to buy the car I knew the price that I got on the car was the best price around. Very pleased that I purchased the car from Fields as the dealership just oozes with class. (like the other Fields dealerships) With all of the freebies that they offer! Never for a second did I feel pressured to make a purchase. Most importantly I felt very comfortable making the purchase. And I have no regrets about making the purchase. After the purchase the follow thru was great as I needed a radio code. Steve took prompt care of me. Steve Farshi was courteous, knowledgeable and a great listener. My husband and I met him over a month ago, and he did not have a Volvo XC60 with navigation to show us. However, he promised to keep looking for us, and called this week when Fields Volvo received a trade in matching our wishes. He never tried to push us into any other car over that period of time. Steve is a true professional. He dealt with me fairly and in a very straight-forward manner. Steve has an MBA and is close to receiving a 2nd masters degree in accounting. His knowledge of all things Volvo was helpful and impressive. I would highly recommend him to a friend or family member. More

Ashvin was a terrific representative, followed up when he said, was extremely courteous and professional, and treated me and my family with the utmost respect. I was introduced to Gary as we were wrapping up the deal, and Gary was also very courteous and respectful. The entire experience was terrific from the beginning to the end, ultimately in the purchase of a used vehicle. I would absolutely recommend this dealer and specifically Ashvin and Gary to others. I will definitely buy from here again and recommend these guys to friends who are looking for a new / used car. More
Barbara & I have purchased 2 new vehicles from Field's Volvo in less then 1 year. I have been a Volvo driver for over 30 years & Barbara switched from Acura to her first Volvo. We are both extreme Field's Volvo in less then 1 year. I have been a Volvo driver for over 30 years & Barbara switched from Acura to her first Volvo. We are both extremely happy with the manner in which Roger Martinez took care of us with both of our NEW purchases. He was thoughtful, patient & considerate with all of our questions, concerns & desires for these purchases. He took care of us from the initial discussions & all the way through our negotiations & final delivery of our NEW Volvo's. And he has been there if we have any questions about our new Volvo's. David Cederquist is always available to answer any service question. With my original 2004 Volvo he always handled any problems that I may have had. Always scheduled a loner Volvo for my convenience & communicated to me with any issues that may have evolved. Both Barbara & I feel VERY comfortable any time we drive into Fields Volvo. Kind of like visiting old friends. And that goes for ALL of the folks at Fields. I have always recommended Field's Volvo any time anyone asked me for MY PERSONAL CAR DEALER! Whenever I have been at Fields I always get a card from Doug Morris asking "If we have not earned a "5" response from you, we want to know what we can do to improve".
