I had the tremendous fortune of being assigned to Mario Mendez, who showed me the car I had called about in a most professional, non-pressuring way. The next morning when I returned with my husband to buy the car, Mario's integrity was beyond reproach, both before we signed the dotted line and after.  He welcomed us as a member of the Bredermann family, regardless of the difference in purchase price between the car we chose and that of the majority of the other used cars and cpos for sale. His warmth and sincerity were palpable. I never imagined that buying a used car could be such an enjoyable experience and that we would feel such a strong sense of kinship with our salesman, Mario. Mario Mendez raises the bar for what it means to be a salesperson and his rare attributes need to be commended. Hours after our purchase of a used BMW x5, when a glitch in the gas gauge was discovered, Mario was there for us, taking full responsibility in trying to resolve the problem. He even offered to pick up the car at our home and drop off a loaner car for us to ensure the safety of my children, who otherwise would have been driven to Bredermann without car seats due to unforeseen circumstances. When his service team wasn't able to fix the problem, he arranged to have it fixed at a nearby BMW dealership. Mario Mendez sets the standard for all other salespeople. Bredermann Lexus sets the standard for all other luxury car dealerships.  You will not find a salesperson of greater integrity than Mario Mendez, nor a finer, more  honest dealership than Bredermann Lexus. New car purchase My wife and I just purchased our first Lexus and we are happy we went to Bredemann in Glenview. Our sales person, Renis Pavlik, was great! She showed us the 2 models we were interested in and explained all the options and dash controls on both before our test drives. She was patient and we felt no pressure to buy. The purchase experience was very smooth and easy. Pavlik had the vehicle prepped for us and again went through another full explanation of the options and controls on the vehicle we chose, a 2016 NX200T. Tim Ryan advised us of our payment options and again there was no pressure to go one way or another. Mike Shparago had our paperwork ready for our signatures and that process took less than 10 minutes even though he explained our options and advised us of a rebate available to us. More

Shop somewhere else! Went in to look at a Lexus NX200t and was not given a very aggressive offer. Which is fine, ended up buying from Woodfield Lexus instead as the savings was much greater. Our sales associate did not even attempt to even get close. He told to us purchase from there, so we did. What I did not appreciate was a bitter phone call after the fact, about how we should enjoy our cars washes from woodfield and the drive was so much further. To top it off, also got a bitter email telling me to enjoy my service at the other location even though his service was sub par. I emailed his management and was not contacted. If you like harassment, then this is your dealership!!! More

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mario Mendez Used Car Sales I was shopping for a specific car (2013 Lexus GS 350) ONLY....I researched this vehicle for over 2 years, I had already test driven all the Lexus Clas I was shopping for a specific car (2013 Lexus GS 350) ONLY....I researched this vehicle for over 2 years, I had already test driven all the Lexus Classes in my price range and knew that test driving that specific vehicle, year, and mileage, the test drive wouldn’t be much of an issue, it’ll likely drive fine and the test drive won’t make or break the purchase. This left me with the price driving the purchase. I called over 15 dealerships in a 3-day span in the IL area. All of my efforts were to no avail...either the cars didn’t have enough margin (Dealership Profit) built into the internet price to negotiate and budge to meet my price point, or the ones that did have enough margin were priced a couple thousand dollars over market average in their initial asking price (So they put their profit on the sticker price and negotiate down to a “normal” market price). I called Brederman Lexus in Glenview and spoke to a general sales answering service rep and showed interest in the car. (This experience was not much different than any other dealership) Within 5 minutes, Mario called me back. At first my assumption was, this is just another "sleezy used car sales man" calling me back on a prospective sale, but after 2 minutes of talking to him, I could tell he was an educated individual who knew his business. I had already priced out the taxes, fees, etc. on top of the asking price. What I originally asked for was too low, and I knew it...I was just "playing the game" to see where his margin was. We spoke for about 15 minutes and we worked on adjusting the price to meet my needs. He was able to remove intangible cost drivers (Lexus Certification) to meet my price range and then we sealed the deal OVER THE PHONE! He held the car for me until I could make it to the dealership. Once arriving to the dealership, it was an amazing experience (As amazing as buying a used car can be…) in comparison to other dealerships. He showed me the car, it was Lexus Certified and still under the original factory warranty. I didn’t even drive the car until I took it home. The entire experience was AMAZING and Mario and the Lexus dealership was truly a diamond in the rough compared to other dealerships and experiences. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARIO FOR ALL USED CARS SALES.
