This was the most exceptional service experience I've ever had. My power steering began to fail after hours. The following morning I brought my IS 250 in without an appointment. I got a service loaner within 20 minutes and I went off to work (I arrived early!). I got a call that afternoon that the in-warranty repair was complete. That was a less-than-24-hour turnaround WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT! While I'd not expect that to happen routinely, the fact it could be done without any hassle on my part amazed me. More

Extensive negotiations. Agreed on a price finally. Once I had all my certified checks in place, we were informed that the rebate is no longer valid because they ran out of the coupon for $500. Since I had all the checks in line, I decided to go and see if they would negotiate with me in person to split the cost of the coupon. When I was informed that they would honor to split the cost of the coupon, he informed us that the what he listed on the Purchase Order Agreement, of the car having Intuitive Parking Assist, did not exist. This was pretty upsetting since I trusted that I was buying a car which includes a Intuitive Parking Assist. I was willing to be ok with it if they woul take up the whole cost of the coupon and I was told, absolutely not. On top of that we discussed that we were dissatisfied with the services and that this would impact my rating of them in the survey once the deal is closed. Charles basically told me that I do not need to do business with them if my goal is to kill him on the survey. My motivation to proceed with the deal was their since I had a check that was written out for Bredemann Lexus of Glenview and I would have to go through going through an underwriter to get a new loan for a vehicle with a different vin number. Then I was informed that we can not proceed with the deal because they need to verify the certified checks. I still agreed. The next day when they were suppose to call me to inform me that the checks were verified, I did not receive a call that everything was a go, so I called them to verify that the checks were good, all they said is when are you picking up the car. After thinking about this through the night, I can not believe the poor service. I was expected to accomodate for their own incompetency and lack of service. I had the money to pay for the car already, you got to be stupid to let a deal go. Unbelievable. More
I contacted Bredemann Lexus about a car they listed on ebay (item number 160449162727). I had requested information on the condition of the vehicle, and was told the radio lights did not work so they would have it checked out and call me about the radio and the reserve the next day. I told them I needed to know that this vehicle would not be sold early off of ebay because I had other vehicles I was interested in, and would be arranging a pre-purchase vehicle check, and driving down from Wisconsin, I even asked if they would like a deposit not to do so, because I have been victim of this tactic before, and I needed a vehicle right away, my husband totaled our other 4 x 4 in a roll over accident friday night, they said they would not do so, and I trusted them. I lost the opportunity to purchase either of those two other local vehicles, and wasted a lot of time in trusting these people at Bredemann Lexus, because, guess what? They sold the car outside of ebay the next morning, didn't even have the common courtesy to let me know. I finally called them at 4:45 p.m., and Steve actually made a little chuckle when he told me they had sold it out from under me (not to mention the other bidders for this vehicle), I thought he must be kidding me, who would find a dirty deal like that amusing? Now I am without a second vehicle, have wasted 3 full days of my time, and my have to use my husbands work vehicle to get my mother and her mobility scooter to her medical appointments, so he has to miss several more days work. You can't just rent a 4 x 4 to drive in a muddy jobsite, or to load a scooter into, so we are just out of luck until we find another vehicle, I had told them that, and they still did this. Their salesman gave me his word that they were honest dealers, my experience with them is otherwise. My opinion is beware.This has already cost them another customer sale in my family, and will cost them more with my friends in the future, I hope it was worth it. More
I recently purchased a 2007 IS250 from Bredemann Lexus dealer in Glenview. The sales staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to show me all the records for the car. We were happy with our trade-in price and with the price of our Lexus. I love that there is an on-line scheduler for service and loaners. Everyone is always very nice and accommodating when I'm there. I love the unlimited free car washes and the always stocked refrigerator with drinks -- they even give you breakfast on Saturday mornings during your car wash. A standout dealer who has won my loyalty. More
