We were happy with our trade-in price and with the price of our Lexus. I love that there is an on-line scheduler for service and loaners. Everyone is always very nice and accommodating when I'm there. I love the unlimited free car washes and the always stocked refrigerator with drinks -- they even give you breakfast on Saturday mornings during your car wash. A standout dealer who has won my loyalty. More
I have been taking my car in for service to Bredemann Lexus for a number of years now. I have always been extremely satisfied with the services that I have received. They have always been very understanding of my needs and provide a loaner car for me everytime I take my car in for a service. This is important for me as being a Federal Employee a car is a must for me at all times. Plus, the service they provide is second to none. They always call before hand to discuss the problems identified and the prices up front, so there are no surprises. I appreciate this because everything is discussed prior to having the technicians work of my vehicle. But the must important aspect of Bredemann Lexus is the fact that all performed is very professional and it gets done right the first time around. I would definietly recommend Bredemann's Lexus at anyone that owns a lexus and wants a professional job done on their cars. More
When searching for our first luxury car a few years ago, a friend suggested we visit Bredemann Lexus in Glenview, IL. We logged into their website, spotted one of their Certified Pre-Owned cars that appealed to us and arranged for a test drive. The pleasant appearance of the dealership, the attention given to us by our salesman, and the courteous manner in which we were treated every step of the way led us to the purchase of our first Lexus. Since then we’ve returned for regular oil changes, and other routine maintenance services. We found scheduling over the phone or via the Internet most convenient. Every step from checking in the car in, talking with the service consultant, sitting in the comfortable waiting room, or driving away in a loaner is handled promptly, courteously and efficiently. If other services are suggested or discovered during the work, a service consultant calls informing us of the suggested route to take and seeks our approval. On a recent visit a specific part replacement we requested was deemed unnecessary. We found that to be refreshing and money saving. When the car is ready, the cashier thoroughly explains the services performed and answers any questions we might have to our satisfaction. We imagine that other dealers offer the same, but it’s nice to know that we’re always met by our nicely washed and vacuumed vehicle. We don’t live “just down the road” from Bredemann, but drive a number of miles for this quality attention. More
I have owned four ES cars over the last 16 years. I bought all of them from Bredemann Lexus and only use their Service Department - never any other. I couldn't be happier or more pleased with my experiences at Bredemann. The Sales staff is great and the people in service are acommodating and helpful. Everything is explained and having loaner cars available makes it easy to drop off and pick up. More
Absolutely do not go here for service! Worst auto service experience of my life! Terrible. I bought my pre-owned 2006 Lexus IS 250 at Bredeman about 1 year ago. I was pretty happy with their Sales Departm experience of my life! Terrible. I bought my pre-owned 2006 Lexus IS 250 at Bredeman about 1 year ago. I was pretty happy with their Sales Department but my salesman Doug left shortly after I purchased my car. I have been pretty happy with the car itself and would by another Lexus again in the future. Recently, I went in for my 15k service. They charge an arm and a leg for this considering they were just rotating tires, inspecting brakes and changing the oil. This took almost 3 hours! Regardless, all they found during the "inspection" was a nail in my tire and suggested it couldn't be patched but needed to be replaced at a cost of $225 additional. I told them to forget it. Then they called me only 2 or 3 days later to tell me about 3 recalls on the vehicle. My boyfriend called the service manager who wouldn't really explain why I hadn't been informed of the recalls when I was there just 2 days earlier. Dan Foreman could have cared less about an unhappy client! My boyfriend told him we would be taking our business elsewhere. So I took my car to McGrath Lexus and I didn't even buy my car there- but they performed all the recall repairs. Also they found that my brake pads were completely worn down due to improper installation and replaced those free of charge for me even though I am at 16k on my mileage and the warranty on brakes is 12k! Now how is it that I just paid to have Bredeman look at these brakes and they completely missed that? Leads me to wonder if they truly inspected my brakes at all as Robert at McGrath said they were absolutely terrible and wearing unevenly! Further, the nail was pulled out of my tire and didn't even cause damage. But Bredeman wanted me to pay $225 to have that replaced! What a complete rip off. So they missed my brakes being bad during the brake inspection and then tried to get me to spend more money on a tire that did not need to be replaced or even patched! Save yourself a lot of headache and don't go to this dealership. Yes it is fancy and they give you a free breakfast and car washes on Saturdays. But does all of that really matter when they try to get you to pay for things you don't need, take longer than they promise, don't properly inspect your vehicle and have terrible customer service? The answer is NO. I had a good experience with McGrath and now will always go there. Because they do what they are supposed to do there and they did what was right and covered the brakes even though they weren't really under warranty because they knew I had only had the car for a year and shouldn't have been charged to replace brakes! All total, McGrath spent over 9 hours on my vehicle and didn't charge me one dime. I didn't even buy the car there. I bought it at Bredeman. Yet when I counted on Bredeman to do their job and inspect my vehicle properly they completely failed. You can bet your life I won't make the mistake of ever doing business with them again and neither should you! More
Me and my husband went to this dealership in the summer to buy a new RX 350. We dealt with Howard who was WONDERFUL! He was so informative and low pressure. They have a huge free car wash for customers and even free brunch. We would recommend all of our friend and family to go there. More
I went there after the sales person repeatedly called me that they will beat lowest offer I had from other dealer for 08 ES350, if I come to their dealership. When I went there he tried to sell me 2007 model which I had told him that I don't want. When he was not successful he asked me to meet his GM. When I met his GM, his behaviour was very unprofessional,rude and unethical. I did not expect a sleazy dealer style from a Lexus dealer. I had a horrible experience. I own three lexus's. I will never give my business to this dealer. More
I bought my IS 300 from this dealer about a year ago. I payed a great price for it. It wasn't until this week when I felt very negative about this dealer. There was a problem in my door, Which I thought, would take less than an hour to fix. Turns out that they ordered the wrong part and I waited for more than 2 hours for nothing. Another thing I find out is that when I walk into my car, I see a scratch on my power window panel. Something like this happened before where they had to fix my XM radio and after they were done with it, I had couple scratches on my stereo compartment. More
