Service dept. experience Visiting Daytona from N.J. Check engine light came on. Called Fields BMW first thing in morning. We got Patti Rennie as service rep. She had us bring car over immediately, diagnosed problem right away. Parts were brought in overnight and back on road next day. Can't say enough good about Patti and her Service dept. First thing he mentioned, let me check if the vehicle is available, Okey, then he said yes it is available, So I asked him 3 question 1) Out the door price of this car? His Response: I am not sure I have to check with another sales guy and I will get back to you. 2) What is your policy about " Pre-purchase inspection? His Response: I am not sure I have to check with another sales guy and I will get back to you. 3)Can you hold the vehicle for few days before I come to FL to inspect the car myself? His Response: I am not sure I have to check with another sales guy and I will get back to you. I am disappointed by the fact that a person who is calling me from a bmw dealership has no information about the car he is selling. After few minutes he called and apologized that another sales person took the money this morning and they are ready to delivery the vehicle. Now you decide the level expertise they have there. More
