Their previous purchase was challenging due to financial issues which she and her husband were subjected to by no fault of their own. With the passing of her husband, the higher payment has been presenting an extra challenge. Kim and I are visiting Florida and yesterday chose to return to Ferman with Mary to see if there was a possibility of finding an alternate vehicle to lower Mary's monthly payment. As a first experience for Kim and I, we now understand why Mary wanted to try Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram first. Darren met us at the door, immediately introduced himself and then listened. Many times, salespeople have ignored Kim and focused on me. That is always a mistake. Darren did not make that error. He made several inquiries as to our needs and then proceeded to find options. Darren presented no pressure and simply offered to show us various vehicles on their lot which could possibly fit Mary's needs. It just so happened that a suitable vehicle was on their lot. A used Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited...4x2, V6. This was the unicorn we needed. Not a popular choice of vehicle to be sure...however, perfect for Mary and an opportunity for Ferman to releive their lot of a difficult sale. We settled on a fair price which would effect the change in monthly payment needed. Next up was Scott, the business manager. We all hear about business managers working extras into a deal...but I will say that Scott not only worked some financing magic, but he also treated Mary and this situation with respect. We all worry about our parents being taken by a dealership. We would now trust sending Mary to Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram alone. I think that is about the best compliment I can give. We would return to the dealership if ever we were in the Florida auto market. An honest sale, at a fair price with a comfortable experience.. Can you really ask for more? Had a great experience dealing with William. We did not go in that day with the intention to buy a truck that day. As the process wound down, it seemed like everything was falling into place. We tried to ask about the financing a time or two, but that fell on deaf ears. We decided to guy the truck we liked, but their financing rate was way too high. We walked away. That night we called our bank and got a rate nearly half of theirs. We went back in the next morning and picked uo the truck at the agreed price and all went great. The after sale communication has been great and Will has made it clear that if we have any questions, we can reach out at any time. Thank you for the experience. More

My purchase was a strange one, as I was buying from out of state. Two hurricanes, death in the family, unexpected death in the family of the owner of the transportation broker I had scheduled with, need fo of state. Two hurricanes, death in the family, unexpected death in the family of the owner of the transportation broker I had scheduled with, need for wet signatures via a local notary on some of the paperwork, etc etc, made this one by far the most drawn-out and challenging vehicle purchases I've done in 39 years of buying/selling cars. All that being said, I had an excellent buying experience, and all staff members I worked with were friendly and efficient. Neil Giles, however, stands out as simply one of the best salesmen I've ever worked with. His communication was outstanding with me across the nearly month-long process it took to get this vehicle to me. He was zero pressure, thorough when responding to my many questions, timely with answers on anything, and was just a friendly guy to work with. He is what all vehicle salespeople should be like, and if we ever find ourselves over in the New Port Richey area we'll stop by and I'll shake his hand. Lastly, I very much appreciated that of all the dealerships I worked with across 5 states to find the best deal I could, Ferman was one of the only that did not try to tack on a bunch of dealer-installed unnecessary/unwanted add-ons like underbody protection, window etching, tint, etc etc. I hate bait and switch tactics like that. Advertising low prices and then adding back things like that is an immediate turn-off for me as a buyer and I leave any dealership that does it. The price for my Jeep was the price shown, plus the up-front communicated processing/tax/title/license fees. Ferman needs to maintain that practice, as it'll attract more buyers like me.
