Appointment was for 3:45 they took my truck in at 4:15 which wasn't to bad for dealer service. I asked that they don't put the service sticker on the windshield that I place the sticker between the courte which wasn't to bad for dealer service. I asked that they don't put the service sticker on the windshield that I place the sticker between the courtesy lights, that didn't happen, they put it on the windshield anyway !! When my pick up was done, after I paid with my debit card because paying with cash seemed to cause a hassle, I walked over to get in truck and noticed that I had more finger and hand prints on my truck then the new oil filter they put on !! Like hello, you get a truck in for an oil change and you don't notice it's as shinny as a new paint job so let me put hand prints ALL OVER THE the fender and the hood !! The over all experience was OK, but just OK, your service department should be excellent not OK !! You represent the back bone of General Motors, your not jiffy lube, every service that comes in no matter how simple should be treated with the utmost service concern and care !! I understand help is hard to find but your people need to go back to old school service ways and they need to out perform every other service place out there and go back to making the customer feel like there business matters and that it is not taken for granted just because your a dealer, yes my truck was serviced, did I feel like it mattered that I had it done there, no it didn't, I felt like you were doing me the favor instead of me giving you my service. You guys are OK, but if it was me in charge, every single employee of mine, every morning, would get a positive we are going to be excellent today and not just OK speech and I want to see customers face glow with being serviced above and beyond just OK no matter what service they came in for !!! If being just OK is fine with you then disregard this survey, if your troubled by it then I suggest you lite a fire under your employees xxx !! Have a good day..... More
Worst dealer I have ever had to work with. I wouldn't buy a car or get service at this dealership EVER. I would drive to Canada if needed to avoid using these folks. The last time I went in I wouldn't buy a car or get service at this dealership EVER. I would drive to Canada if needed to avoid using these folks. The last time I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, they FORGOT to put a lug nut on one of my tires. I had to go back to the dealer after I got home to get the lug nut put on. I just brought my truck in for "Chevy Shake" under warranty work. I made an appointment and when I arrived the crappy service advisor didn't know even what "Chevy shake" was -- meanwhile it is a fleetwide problem with many vehicles. He told me that I would need to leave my truck at the dealer for 3-4 months before they could get to it. I asked if I could then make an appointment in the transmission guys queue for 3 months from now. His response was NO, I would need to leave the truck at the dealer for that long. That is xx! I called two other dealers who could get my car scheduled a week from now, and they said it is crazy to ask someone to leave their car at the dealer for 3-4 months! My real rating would be NO STARS! TERRIBLE DEALER!!!!!!! More

We purchased a 2018 Equinox, new, back in the fall of 2017. The young salesman did a great job. Service over the years was terrible at best. When it takes 3 hours to perform an oil change that was scheduled, well that is unacceptable. In the end I got stuck with a $1500 (roughly) bill because an item that broke just before warranty was repaired. however it was not repaired properly. It was fully repaired but just after the warranty expired. I was told that I would received at least some of the money back but that never happened. In the end, their poor service sent me to Stingray Chevrolet. I just purchased a New 2024 Equinox, we really like the Equinox model, and we bought it from Stingray Chevrolet. I wont tell you were to go but I will say, DO NOT GO TO FERMAN CHEVROLET !!! More

I am extremely frustrated with the service department at Ferman Chevy. The sheer level of incompetence and lack of professionalism exhibited by their staff is truly astonishing. Despite clearly communicatin Ferman Chevy. The sheer level of incompetence and lack of professionalism exhibited by their staff is truly astonishing. Despite clearly communicating that we had already obtained a diagnostic for the vehicle and only required them to perform a specific TSB bulletin, they treated us with disdain. Not only did they neglect to provide any updates on the service progress or the status of the check engine light, but they also took an unreasonably long time to bring the car to us upon pickup. Adding to the frustration, immediately after leaving the dealership, the car experienced a system failure that had never previously occurred. It is evident that they did not bother to test drive the vehicle before returning it to us, a fundamental step that any competent technician would undertake. The lack of attention to detail and care at Ferman Chevy is deeply disappointing, and I have lost all confidence in their ability to service my vehicle. I am requesting a refund for the incomplete TSB bulletin and strongly advise others to avoid this dealership. I recommend seeking service elsewhere for a more reliable and professional experience. Service department has gone downhill. 08 Chevy 2500 Silverado had to be taken back again for the same issue as two weeks ago. Was there all day long and Francisco never kept me informed and even though I had an appointment by 5pm still no word on my truck then I find out that they are not scheduling services for diesel trucks. Their customer service has gone down and I have been bringing my truck here for 16 years. Will be finding another service location More
From my most recent experience, the people are nice (the older woman in the cashier's cage and my advisor Anthony) but there has been much that I have wanted to discuss that I am not pleased with at Ferman. older woman in the cashier's cage and my advisor Anthony) but there has been much that I have wanted to discuss that I am not pleased with at Ferman. I'd rather have this conversation in person than by this method but it seems like the only option right now. 1. What is the purpose of having an appointment? In December 2023, the first of a series of repair actions centered around my brakes on my Tahoe. The indicator on my dash said that my brakes were in need of changing and I had a trip to make the weekend before New Years Day, so I requested whatever was needed for ANY of the brakes and I replaced two tires. For this appointment I also requested a shuttle ride home but was told that it was unavailable. Being that I had an appointment I did not think that it would require a large amount of time for this particular maintenance, but it took EIGHT hours before I was able to leave with my vehicle. This was unbelievable and unacceptable. After the procedure, I took my trip, and everything SEEMED okay though. 2. My BRAKES...Approximately April-May 2024 timeframe, I began to hear my brakes squealing. Now, my brakes were squealing but there was even squealing going on AS I WAS DRIVING. After experiencing this unexpected noise, I RECORDED this horrible noise, went to the dealership and got into the maintenance/service line. While there, I played multiple recordings of the noise for a service advisor to hear, and he said that it sounded like something that needed to have a diagnostic test done to determine the problem. I went in to schedule a same day appointment and was able to (on a Friday) but I needed my car back by Monday morning but was told that the vehicle wouldn't even be seen until Monday. So, I had to go but came back the following week and got the diagnostic test done. The test revealed that I needed the second pair of brakes/rotors to be done so I got them done. By the time that I received my vehicle, there was maybe an hour left before closing and I was only down the street on US-60 when I heard the squealing again. I called Ferman and told them what had happened. On the call, my advisor of the day, Anthony, trying to solve the problem, read back my service history including the brake job done in December and he noted that no brake fluid exchange had occurred. Another advisor (Jeremy I think) got on the call asked me to bring the car back the next day, but I had no option to do so because I had to work the following three days. After doing much research I discovered that a) after looking through several car forums, a law enforcement officer stated that their ENTIRE Tahoe fleet made still made squealing noises during braking throughout their lifetime, which I thought was ridiculous but maybe believable and b) that every time a brake job is done on a vehicle that a brake fluid exchange/replacement should take place. I believed that the latter HAD TO BE the reason I was still hearing the noise so I returned to Ferman to have the brake fluid exchange done in hopes that it would remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I still hear the squealing on occasion and inconsistently (at least there is no squealing while the vehicle is in motion anymore). I feel like if I buy the premier Tahoe (High Country) at $73K plus, I should really have no issues with my vehicle. I love my vehicle, but it is embarrassing riding around in such a nice vehicle with that noise...I just want my car fixed... More
