Not much included in the base model...including floor mats. I know this is the BMW way, but makes it hard to cross the bridge from Honda/Acura to BMW based on this. Thought we had come to a price agreement for a unit on the lot only to come in and be insulted. I was embarrassed in front of my son by one of the sales managers. Anyway, I am not driving and BMW now thanks to lack of movement in price and apparent add ons during negotiation. There were crazy price add ons like "car wash" and dealer prep. Come on! Hide it someone else. I always thought the dealers want to move "iron" on the lot. Not Ferman. More

First of all, Steve Phillips is the best salesman. He didn't rush me, yet I bought the first BMW he showed me. He was gracious and, frankly the person I would want to sell me new or pre-owned. He was pat didn't rush me, yet I bought the first BMW he showed me. He was gracious and, frankly the person I would want to sell me new or pre-owned. He was patient and quite knowledgable. Carl Alverez is a good svce mgr as well...taking care of a problem, letting me wait w/out notice, for a repair that could be fixed immediately. From the moment I met Steve, I knew I'd be buying an auto at Ferman. Keep up the good work! Your auto body shop personnel are great too!! AND the service appointments are made so quickly, without you having to wait a long period of time to get your car in for repair. My next car will be from Ferman. More
This dealer has by far the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I am on my third BMW, but it's the first purchased at Ferman. They are sort of OK when the car is under warranty. An service I have ever experienced. I am on my third BMW, but it's the first purchased at Ferman. They are sort of OK when the car is under warranty. And by that I mean, barely OK. Even then, they only offer the bare minimum of service. It's a complete hassle trying to schedule a service appnt to begin with, whether the car is still under warranty or not. In the past three years, for more than 60% of the repairs I've had done to my 5 series had to be done more than once! They just can't seem to fix much on the first try. Very inconvenient to say the least. Who cares if the work is covered for two years...I do not (and should not) have to keep going back for the same damn thing! They take a ridiculous amount of time in returning phone calls or replying to emails. It's always the same song and dance. And truthfully, they don't seem to care. This is the first car I have ever purchased at a Ferman Dealer. And it will be the last. Never again would I go to Ferman for anything at all. And I know I am not alone in this...several people I have spoken to in the waiting area over the past few years have said the same thing. I guess they rely on new customers to stay in business, because I would bet their percentage of repeat customers is VERY low. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER> YOU ARE BETTER OF GOING ANYWHERE ELSE! More
Took vehicle in for annual oi change and sub-frame inspection. Nothing out of the ordinary other than their on-line information data entered does not transfer to the dealers system, therefore you need inspection. Nothing out of the ordinary other than their on-line information data entered does not transfer to the dealers system, therefore you need to repeat the information when you get there. Average dealership and wait time (2.5 hours). I've been in nicer waiting areas but this was fine. More
I bought my 2006 3301 from John Crapper and it was a great experience. So much so that when I moved North, I also went to see him in 2008 for a used X3. John comes across like a friend you've know for y great experience. So much so that when I moved North, I also went to see him in 2008 for a used X3. John comes across like a friend you've know for years. He was very careful in showing me every detail about the car. He was also flexible because of my hectic schedule, I kept him waiting more than once, and he never complained. I have read other reviews about Ferman, some good and a few bad. I just think you could save yourself a lot of hassle and time wasted dealing with John than with some other bozo who doesn't know what they are doing. John Crapper is everything a car salesman is not supposed to be; kind, courteous, detailed, personable and a good all around person. I call him every now and then with questions and advice about service issues and any sales events going on, he returns my calls every single time. If you are looking for a new or used car or suv, go see John. Tell him the Cuban sent you, he will know what that means. Dont deal with anyone else, John is tops! More
I was aware of the good reputation that Ferman BMW had in the community, so when I started looking for a car I first went to their website. I found it easy to navigate and quickly located the car that I want the community, so when I started looking for a car I first went to their website. I found it easy to navigate and quickly located the car that I wanted. Upon my arrival at the dealership, my wife who was on crutches at the time, and I were met by Mr. Kassem. He first inquired about my wife's injury and then made sure that she was comfortable in the lounge before any business was discussed. After showing me the car and taking a test drive, I was sold on the vehicle. We then started to negotiate and arrived at what I considered a fair price. Everyone that I met at the dealership was cordial and more than willing to answer any questions that I had.The people at Ferman treat you like you are family and this is unusual in this day.Ferman BMW exceeded my expectations! On Monday, April 12, 2010, I located a used 2005 BMW 330CI in your inventory. I live 300 miles away and did all my research on your website. I contacted the sales person (Mr. Jack Price) listed on the website about the vehicle. Mr. Price was extremely polite and professional. I told Mr. Price what I was willing to pay for the vehicle. Mr. Price took the information and contacted Mr. Alvarez. Within minutes, Mr. Price got back to be with a reasonable car offer. We were about $400 more than I was willing to pay. I contacted Mr. Alvarez and explained to him my tight car buying budget. Mr. Alvarez was very understanding. He agreed to my price. I had all my financing set up with my local bank. Mr. Morgan called me to offer his services. I notified him that I had 5.1% financing set up. Within minutes, Todd called to notify me that he had me set up at 4.2%. Incredible! Saved me a lot of money on top of the great car price I had set up. Being that I am 300 miles away, I was a little concerned about my purchase. I had purchased a used vehicle without even seeing it. When I arrived, the vehicle was exactly as described on your website and by Mr. Price. My delivery was exactly as expected and promised. I was in and out within a few minutes. The used car price was extremely fair, and the customer service was outstanding. This is my sixth BMW purchase. First time with Ferman BMW. I without a doubt will return to Ferman for my next one. It's because of people like Mr. Price, Mr. Alvarez, and Mr. Morgan that made this out of town car byuing experience amazing. Thank you gentlemen and thank you to Ferman BMW for employing people like the ones mentioned above. Ferman BMW, you have one very satisfied customer!!!! My wife was the winning bid on EBay Oct29,2009, for a 2005 MercedesBenz. Bid was confirmed and Ferman BMW was told that I would go to my bank to arrange transfer of payment by bank check, please send all 2005 MercedesBenz. Bid was confirmed and Ferman BMW was told that I would go to my bank to arrange transfer of payment by bank check, please send all documents. I was turned 'off' by a very friendly man Jack Price, who I had to correct that he could call me Mr., sir, or Mr. Frushone BUT NOT BUDDY!, After a subsequent conversation with Jack Price , when I told him who was calling, he said how are you BUDDY, I said what gives with you, his explanation I am from WVirginia and 'just' a good ol boy. I asked to speak with a manager for I didn't want to deal with this person.I was given over to a RobtMarchand, who was courteous and polite, gave me good answers to my questions.Next, because I work until 2 pm, I told Mr.Marchand, I would go to the bank after work which would have been Monday, Nov 2. Upon contacting Mr.Marchand, I stated I had preliminary arrangements made , their were a couple of figures I was confused by, namely the sales tax I would owe, Ferman's, figure was higher than mine, he said he's has done 100's of out of state deals,' trust me' On Nov 5, I received an e-mail, explaining that she would have to send copies of her drivers license and NYS insurance card. I called and spoke with Mr.Marchand, I questioned the $ 85.00 ( their agency fee), I stated I will not pay, this is stupid, you are charging me $ 299.95 for a set-up or pre-delivery fee, you get it from there, I am not paying another fee to you, Marchand agreed. On Nov.5,12:41PM,she faxed copies of her drivers license and NYS insurance card and registration card for the car she is driving, this date is important, I have a confirmation letter in my possession, as well as a clear copy of the above items, asked for. In many subsequent e-mails from RMarchand, nothing was mentioned that the picture on her drivers license was not clear enough for their purpose. For a moment, I will go back to the time line after Nov 5, when in a phone conversation with Marchand he asked if I had gotten a favorable rate on financing, I said not really, he said let me try to do better,' long story short' he did beat my rate, however his source had a minimum amount higher than the amount I needed, I said thanks but no thanks. Marchand was 'off' from work on Nov.4th and 5th, so in a e-mail I sent to him, I said I would prefer to 'work' with him rather than his associate ToddMorgan, this I said would be more satisfying to me. I did not hear from Marchand again until late afternoon Nov 6th. I was now somewhat concerned this was dragging on , but stayed positive on the deal, on Nov 5, an express envelope was sent from Ferman and I received same on Nov 6, I guess Marchand was off work , for when I called I believe ToddMorgan answered. I stated that I had sent an earlier e-mail to Marchand that I would like to continue to deal with Marchand, didn't seem to be a problem with ToddMorgan. When Marchand got back to me, I told him 'bottom' figure was agreeded upon, but 'buyers order showed they (Ferman) was doing the financing, another problem I could see and I mentioned to Marchant was Wednesday, Nov 11 was a legal holiday, Marchand said he would sent up new 'buyers order'. this was sent , Nov 10, my receiving on Nov 12th. Called him financing was 'in hand', would be sending two checks, one for the car and one for transporting the car. At this point, I asked Marchand how long after they(Ferman) receive check which I estimated as Friday, Nov 13th, might I expect car to be shipped, Marchant, told me " drivers are in here every day, the moment a check is received the car goes out. Now we are at Nov 13, phone rings about 6:45 p.m., its ToddMorgan, tells me that photo on drivers license is blurred, need another sent, I said I looked at copy of photo sent by "Quik Copy' and it was as clear as far as I could see, as clear as on the original, Morgan said, don't argue with me, I said I am not arguing I am stating a fact, the photo is not blurred, he (Morgan) hung up on me! I called back for Marchant, no answer. I called Morgan and said , I have done everything you asked for, you have all of your money, send the car up as Marchant said once he received the check he would send car. Morgan said I have your money and the car and nothing will happen until I receive a clear 'photo' picture. I called him many expletive words, having lost all and any patience with a group of incompent 'morons' , I repeated my earlier threat of informing the Florida State Attorney for the disrespectful way he Todd Morgan handled his part, in no manner did I say I would not send him another copy of the photo, I said to him, I showed 'good faith', signed whatever was necessary, sent the 'bank checks' as was required, why than tell me why, I would not honor my word and send out on Saturday November 14, for the second time a drivers license photo, its not as though you don't already have one 'good one', bang he hung up. What am I to do?? I give this dealership a failing grade on most points, I expect respect and I give respect, I am a seventy-three retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, who commanded troops in both 'combat' and peace time for over twenty-five years. The insolent showed to me my ToddMorgan should be reported to his superior . After all they had the original copy of this 'photo' on Nov 5th. eight days later when they have 'check' in hand they question the photo was not clear, what gives, this is a dealership who's logo 'treating people like people' is meaningless to me, Do I want the car released as Marchant said he would do upon receipt of check, yes of course, would I recommend Ferman BMW to friends NEVER! A very unhappy customer. More
Worst customer service EVER!!! They kiss your ass while your car is under warranty. After it's out of warranty, they overcharge for everything. And rather than actually trying to fix problems, they just your car is under warranty. After it's out of warranty, they overcharge for everything. And rather than actually trying to fix problems, they just want to replace every part, even if it only takes minor work/repairs. The parts are way overpriced (for example, they told me I needed a new radiator fan for my mini cooper that they were going to charge $900 for, not including labor costs. I found the same part online for $500 - they were going to overcharge me $400 for one part!!! Every time I go in there, I end up coming out with a $3,000 bill. It's like $3,000 is their magic number. I know many others who have had terrible service from other Ferman dealerships. I know two people in particular who were interested in buying BMW's, but the service was so bad, those two people are completely turned off. BMW just lost two customers willing to purchase brand new cars because they have such terrible customer service. I have also heard bad things about Ferman Nissan. AWFUL SERVICE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT FIXING YOUR CAR. THEY JUST WANT TO REPLACE EVERYTHING AND CHARGE YOU 2-3 TIMES WHAT IT SHOULD COST. More
