We were just looking/browsing at the brand ne This review is a few months late, only due to the fact that I was not aware of the DealerRater website. We were just looking/browsing at the brand new 2015 Sonata’s and had no urgent need or intention of leasing one, since we still had 1 year remaining on our current Sonata lease. But upon test driving and looking over the new Sonata and having the dealership run us numbers, we decided that it was worth the upgrade. So the numbers is where things got complicated, the salesman, Todd Grier had taken all our information down, what we still owed, what the residual was, where we wanted to be price wise, and how much were willing to put down and came back with an acceptable monthly figure. They didn’t have the exact car we wanted, but we were assured they could get it, so we made the deal. A few days later the car we wanted arrived and we proceeded to the dealership to make the trade. When we arrived to take possession and fill out the paperwork, we were informed that the numbers they told us previously were not what they thought and needed to be adjusted. So I thought a few dollars sure, I know the previous ones were close estimates. So we went from $387 a month estimate to $450 a month. Obviously this was not ok, as the new price was a deal breaker for us. They explained that the numbers we gave them on the payoff were not correct; however, we pulled them from the Hyundai finance website. Apparently, when the dealership went to check on the day of delivery, they discovered that during their initial work up of the estimate, they used a lesser amount than what was owed. The manger then got involved and again made it seem like it was our fault and not the salesperson who took all the info from us. In either case of the he said she said, they should have checked everything prior and not just throw the new figures on us right before delivery like it was no big deal. We were prepared to walk and were out the door when we were asked to stop by the sales manager. The manager came back and said that it would need to be a presidential decision at this point, since the numbers were off, the car was already dealer traded for we were ready to walk (because we loved the sonata we did have). The manager came back with a $400 a month deal, to which we reluctantly agreed to. After this point, the service from here on out was very poor and everyone’s attitude towards us was bad, even somewhat cold and hostile. The salesman was supposed to set up our free blue link trial but failed to do so. He said there was an issue and would contact us in a few days. After a few days we were not contacted and finally had to reach out to management. The salesmen called me back and actually did apologize and take responsibility, and said he would set it up. By this time I had given him our info on numerous occasions and I stated that we were previously Bluelink customers. Again another week goes by, nothing done. Email and call, no response, multiple calls to Bluelink customer service, they keep telling us the dealership has to set it up. Three weeks after that, still nothing. Had to reach out to management again, the salesperson finally then sets us up and everything and it is completely wrong. I don’t mean a few things that could be missed, I mean everything, to the point it appeared intentional and almost like a last dig as I know he was in some hot water over this deal because he asked us not give him a bad rating on the survey. We did give him a good rating on the survey, only because we didn’t want him to lose his job over this, but I wish I would have waited until everything was finished before doing so because 2 months later we are finally finished and we had to fix everything ourselves anyway because it was all wrong. Our trial was almost over by the time we got set up, which did not appear fair and nobody seemed interested in helping us out anymore. No problem, we will never return to Faulkner again, we have bought/leased 4 vehicles from them in 4 years, but this will be the last. Very poor customer service, accept from the president who seemed to understand that he had to do the right thing by a customer, but everyone else there, forget about it and don’t look here for your next car. More

I also gave this rating because of the exceptional customer service I received when I actually went to buy my car. I appreciate how far this team went to help me find the right car for me and also the amount of effort they put into working with me on getting me a price that I could afford. Josh (finance guy) explained everything thoroughly and was very patient. Both John and Josh made this a very great experience for me. I recommend them to anyone looking for a hassel free way to buy a car. They are great! More

I had a problem with my insurance the following week, went back to see John, and he straightened it out for me.
