I have been a Faulker customer since 1988 (over 25 years) with Faulkner Oldsmobile & Faulkner Saturn. I have purchased over 10 used cars and have referred family & friends. I will continue to do so since Faulkner is a reliable and trustworthy dealership. More

We were so pleased with the level of service we received from Steven Folbaum when we purchased new cars in September 2012 and March 2013, that we wanted him to help us when the car we purchased in March was from Steven Folbaum when we purchased new cars in September 2012 and March 2013, that we wanted him to help us when the car we purchased in March was damaged in an accident. On Wednesday, Faulkner Collision in Plymouth Meeting had not yet made a determination regarding loss on our car, but we wanted to be prepared in case of a total loss. We test drove a 2011 Santa Fe with Steve that evening and explained our situation. Not only did he express concern for our well-being, but he understood that until we knew something, we could not make a deal. Knowing how much we liked the vehicle, he further explained our situation to his manager, Pat, who agreed to hold the vehicle for us until we heard from Faulkner Collision. By Friday, one week from the accident, we were told that our car was a total loss. We called and made an appointment with Steve for that Saturday. Going in for the appointment, we thought that we would finalize the terms, but not take delivery until Monday or Tuesday of the following week because the insurance company only verbally told us of the total loss. Apparently this is not the case at Faulkner Hyundai. Steve had the car ready for us, explained the features and warranties included in the purchase price. Billy Mullen took care of the financing negotiations for us, which included completing the paperwork for a refund for the warranty of the totaled car, and explaining the situation with the other car and loan with the bank. We were also able to return our rental to the cashier. Steven, Pat and Billy made what could have been a cumbersome transaction very smooth and easy for us. Their customer service is top notch. We hope we are finished buying cars for a few years, but would absolutely return to Faulkner Hyundai. More
Steven Folbaum was a very patient, friendly sales person - he understood how much I wanted to spend on a new car and suggested alternative model - started out wanting an accent, but ended with an elantra. - he understood how much I wanted to spend on a new car and suggested alternative model - started out wanting an accent, but ended with an elantra. This was the first and last time I will ever use this dealership, and any of the other locations under the Faulkner name. Purchased as used 2000 Elentra private sale, 2 years ago. started to have transm dealership, and any of the other locations under the Faulkner name. Purchased as used 2000 Elentra private sale, 2 years ago. started to have transmission problem, dropping out of overdrive. Took it to my local repair, he thought trans rebuild? but also noticed CV joint rubber boot had a tear in it needing replacement. Never mentioned loose bearings. Since I was not very confident in my local service with the trans I took it to this dealer. After two days I authorized the repair of the axle and CV boots on the drivers side, but the trans in their estimation needed to be replaced, they quoted a used with 30 thousands miles on it. not a factory unit or factory rebuilt unit but USED. I told them it was to much money for the trans but to go ahead and repair the axle with the CV boots. Picked up car, after they called and said it was ready. Daughter took it to work and immediately called me on the phone telling me that the brake pedal was going down to the floor and could not stop the car. Went to the car and she was right pedal to the floor barely stopping the car. Had car towed to the dealer that night. Next morning showed up to tell them about the cars problem, they took it nonchalantly and told me when they had time to put it on the lift they would call me when they had looked at it and that I would not need to stay. They called and now told me that the master brake cylinder was now defective. I said to them the axle was what you were to fix how all of a sudden is the brake system now bad, they said it is an older car and it does have issues. Other issues were right front wheel bearing and left rear bearing. Counter service said he may have read the information wrong about what wheel bearing was bad.??????? now it's the left front bearing. Took the car from them. went to another local service that I sometimes use, he checked it out and immediately found that the axle spindle nut was put on incorrectly and the axle threads were now stripped and that is why the drivers side wheel was wobbling. The axle spindle nut was removed by them to put the new axle on. they tried to put the blame on the mechanic I took it to, saying he must have just done it, I took pictures and video, before anything was done. The dealer service mechanic also took a video of the wheel that was wobbling but NO ONE showed me this problem just that the bearing had some play in it and should be replaced. The mechanic that found this problem that I took it to, said that this wheel could have broken off and caused an accident! No one at the dealership ever mentioned that this was a safety issue and the car should not be driven. A report of this matter has been given to the corporate head quarters of Hyundai and I will not let up on this until someone pays for this fiasco. Larry Kaminski Philadelphia Pa More
