Our experience with Faulkner Honda was first rate. Our salesperson, Mike Grant, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and went the extra mile. He listened to our automotive needs and read between the lines. The original price quoted was excellent and he later met our counter offer. Mike went to bat for us on a service-related contract previously signed on one of our trade ins and negotiated an equatable resolution. We were Volvo owners for 30 years and owned a total of 6 during that period. Our last one was 9 years old and, as all of them did, started to cost exorbitant amounts to get it repaired. Volvo has left the "common man" behind with the exclusion of the reasonable priced car. I previously had purchased a new Civic from Faulkner back in 2008 and had a great experience. And so, these factors aligned and we ended up trading both cars in for a 2013 Fit Sport and a 2013 Civic EX Sedan. It was an unusual deal for us, of course, and a first in our 32 years of marriage. We each got two new cars! It happened because of the great customer service and pricing that Mike Grant and Faulkner Honda brought to the table. Customer service, great pricing/value, attention to detail may have generaly fallen from American business, but I can attest that it is alive and well at Faulkner Honda and its representative, Mike Grant. I have written other reviews about Faulkner Honda that were excellent until now. I purchased my car in March and refinanced this past week. I have been trying to contact Finance to cancel my extended wa were excellent until now. I purchased my car in March and refinanced this past week. I have been trying to contact Finance to cancel my extended warranty and Gap Coverage. When finance got back to me I felt like I was being bullied, being told not a smart thing to cancel my extended warranty and gap coverage, that I would have to drive the 2 hours back to them to cancel, etc. I emailed Don Perry the President of the dealership on Saturday explaining to him the way I was treated and he assured me that Brian Kim head of finance would be back in touch with me first thing Monday, well here it is Tuesday and nothing, I have emailed again and again and feel like I am being ignored. It is my understanding that if you cancel the extended warranty and gap coverage that the dealership over charges you for that they lose money, so this obviously is why they are not being cooperative. I finally just called Honda and they sent me the forms to complete and fax back to them. This dealership was wonderful during the sale, but when you are trying to cancel something that you have the legal right to cancel they obviously do not care about the customer's wants and just how it will affect them financially. so if purchasing from them, buyer beware.. I live far from the dealership and consulted every Honda dealer within 150 miles. Mike Grant represented Faulkner and he did a great job. Jim was an extremely personable sales consultant who made me feel at ease. He was knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all my questions. Mike Grant & Faulkner Honda are fantastic! Mike was VERY quick responding to e-mails & was able to meet my "out the door" price in order to get me into a 2014 Honda Odyssey (which I love!) After agreeing on a price through a few e-mails & phone calls, my husband and I drove 2 1/2 hours to deal with Faulkner. No dealership in our area could get us to a price that worked for us.....but Faulker & Mike were able to do so! When we arrived, Mike was ready for us....no wait! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the options in the Odyssey & was very thorough with the explanations of the cars bells & whistles! I've purchased 3 new vehicles in the 5 years....and this was by far my best experience yet! I would definitely recommend Mike Grant & Faulkner Honda to anyone who is in the market for a new car! More
This was our first time buying a car over the internet without seeing it. The experience was straight forward and easy including a valuation of our trade. Suljo was very helpful. He was patient in answering all of our questions in a friendly manner. Also, the Business Manager was friendly and provided clear financing information. In fact, he helped us find a great a interest rate. Also, I was surprised that Faulkner delivers cars to your home. The person delivering the car was friendly and informative. He made the paperwork simple and understandable. We were able to complete all the paperwork at our kitchen table with no problems. If you are nervous about buying a car over the internet, you don't need to be if buying from Faulkner Honda. Suljo is a great sales rep to work with when buying. Best to you in your car shopping. In 2001, I leased an Accord from Bobby Rahal Honda. At lease expiration, they were less than helpful, and basically refused to budge off MSRP on a new accord. So, I went to Faulkner, met Mike, and purcha lease expiration, they were less than helpful, and basically refused to budge off MSRP on a new accord. So, I went to Faulkner, met Mike, and purchased a 2004 Accord after some minor negotiating. I was probably there less than 2 hours between a test drive and delivery! Great work! After flood damage to my Accord a year later, I went to purchase the same car, and called Bobby Rahal first. I told them what I wanted (same car, but 2005) and how much I wanted to pay (same as previous car). They actually said no (something about prices changing year to year and they would loose money). For the record, between depreciation and flood damage deductible, I lost money; I wasn't getting a 'free' new car. Anyway, I called Mike, and he came through, selling me exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted. So Faulkner is my go to dealer. Its also worth noting that Faulkner service is reasonable and convenient. They definitely get my maintenance and repair work. More
I thought the service was excellent; I could not ask for a better experience for my first time buying car. I thought I could not buy the car because of my paperwork issue; however Troy was very helpful and a better experience for my first time buying car.
