Not Willing to Deal Back in January, my family was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. This dealer had a new 2016 with options we wanted still on the lot (keep in mind it Back in January, my family was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. This dealer had a new 2016 with options we wanted still on the lot (keep in mind its now 2017). We drove an hour to the dealership to see it and were prepared to buy. We spent the best part of a Saturday getting there, test driving, appraising trade and working on a deal. I've bought a lot of cars in my life and must say I've never had a more condescending experience from a new car sales manager. They didn't want to negotiate one penny from the asking price and made me feel like a fool for what I wanted on my trade in. I did my research before hand and prepared what I thought was a fair stating point. We left frustrated. That night I finalized a deal on a similarly equipped new Wrangler at a dealership less then 5 minutes from my house!!! The best part is its a 2017!!! I got the exact deal I asked for at Farris. Very pleased to get the deal I wanted and have a 2017. I don't know what they were celebrating that day but they obviously didn't want to make a sell. Wasted most of a Saturday on them. On a final note, the salesman that helped us was very friendly. Management earned this review. More
