I called and set up an appointment with Cristian Berumen for a review and test drive of the vehicle looking to purchase. He had the vehicle ready, clean, and set for the test drive. I was able to verify for a review and test drive of the vehicle looking to purchase. He had the vehicle ready, clean, and set for the test drive. I was able to verify any default ODBC2 Codes, test drove specifically to find if the vehicle showed any of the common issues related to the vehicle, and saw that Family Toyota had done an excellent job in checking the vehicle with an exhaustive point check list so felt I did not need to take into my mechanic, or the local Honda dealer I plan to use for on-going maintenance. Secondly - not to be crude, but having decided to buy the car; we discussed the finances which I had already worked through on my end; and there were no games played here. The finance officer provided additional services available for purchase but no hidden or last minute add-on fees, dealer upgrades, destination, prep, or other bogus fees; just the $150 state documentation and taxes. Whole process was 3 hours. Finally - Cristian delivered my vehicle to my home so I didn't have to set up a friend to drive out and back with me to pick up the vehicle; which was a very nice customer service touch. I also received my tags and inspection sticker 19 days after purchase; very quick compared to other new cars we've purchased. Even though I'm an hour away from the dealership, I am completely satisfied with how this transaction went (as compared to a couple of other dealers I've tried to work with in this process) and will even give a courtesy first pass for any vehicle I'm looking to buy with Family Toyota of Burleson whether Toyota or not. More
