Terrible communication. Called the service department at least 15 times and never had anyone answer the phone!! Car was in for service on 7-6-2023, had to order a part, nobody ever followed up to explain why/what/when! I’ve called 3 times to find out, left a message all 3 times and still have never received a call. Completely unacceptable. Wrote letter to the owner and Sr. Management, hand delivered it 2 weeks ago and nobody has ever called to follow up. The worst auto dealership service I have ever encountered. More

The only issue I had was, who ever pulled my car out and parked it, backed it up too far. I have a low car with a low exhaust and the exhaust was scraping the cement stopper. Good thing it wasn't damaged. Plus they were very helpful. Over all still the best dealer in my area More
I bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson in 2018 - which had 5601 miles on it. (Which I lost half of the warranty) - which I bought the Mechanic extended warranty - from them! Last year my transmission - wasn't shi miles on it. (Which I lost half of the warranty) - which I bought the Mechanic extended warranty - from them! Last year my transmission - wasn't shifting right - so I took it in to Family - and I had Mike Major -(service advisor) Wait on me - I told him about the transmission - which him and I took it for a ride - and he saw the problem - which he had the mechanics - look at it and found out it was the catalytic converter - was clogged up -(which was under warranty) and I got a new one - at no cost to me - and it fixed the problem! I told Mike about me losing oil -(which I have 76000 miles on my car) and he had me bring it in - and after I brought it in - told me to drive it a 1000 miles - and bring it in again (which I did) And found out it lost 2 quarts of oil- (A quart every 500 miles) Which failed the test! Which he said their going soak the engine - and after that bring it back in another 1000 miles - and if it's still losing oil - I need a new engine! Well - when I brought it back - it failed the test - and he put in for a new engine! He said Hyundai - agreed for the new engine - (which was close to $6000) And that they would pay half and I would have to pay the other half! Which I sort of got mad - and said (What did I pay for the extended warranty for - it's not my fault the engines losing oil)! Well he checked with the warranty - I bought - and they agreed to pay it - (I just had to pay my $100.00 deductible) I got the new engine - no problems! I want to thank Family Hyundai - and the Service Advisor (Mike Major) for coming through for me!!! Not to say the other Service Advisors aren't good! But Mike's #1 with me! I would highly recommend buying their extended warranty - they offer if you're buying a used car at Family Hyundai!!! More
