MY EXPERIENCE AT THE DEALERSHIP. MY SERVICE WRITER WAS VERY NICE. THE ONLT PROBLEM I HAD WAS MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THE OIL CHANGE. Due to the Covid pandemic the service department has been kinda booked tight. I understand this. I brought me vehicle in for my schedule maintenance a day earlier than scheduled. My service advisor made me f kinda booked tight. I understand this. I brought me vehicle in for my schedule maintenance a day earlier than scheduled. My service advisor made me feel assured that if someone would cancel then they would put me into the pool. I thought I would be there for 4 or more hours but it was only 2. I was so happy because the service department had so many cars lined up before and upon my arrival to get checked in for my unscheduled service. I’m happy as usual with the service at Family Hyundai. I had an appointment for a basic oil change at 11:45. There was one other car in service at the time I arrived for my appointment. At 12:30 my car had not moved from when I parked it at my arrival. When I asked what was going on I was told that my appointment time window was an hour an a half and that the car would be done within that time. At 1:15 I asked for a status on my car since it had now been an hour and a half and he said the car was finished and just going through the car wash. At 1:30 my car was still not finished and the service rep stated he would go see what was going on. My car was finally ready at 1:40 and wasn't even dried from the car wash. Almost 2 hours for a simple oil change, for which I had an appointment for and the dealership wasn't busy is totally unacceptable. More
