Hyundai and dealership need more concise internal communication so customer communication can be improved. My situation was a warrantied engine replacement. When I asked service about the status of the engine. (Where it was coming from and how long it would be until arrival at the dealership), service didn't know because Hyundai doesn't tell them. Everyone just knows it is coming. That is unacceptable. If the USPS can track a single letter, I would think Hyundai can track an engine and report to service who reports to the customer. A simple improvement like that would keep the dealer and customer in the loop. Having a backlog of work is an excuse for not communicating not a reason.
