I do not plan on having further service done on my 2008 Santa fe after my experience at family hyundai. I was told that my service would be an hour to an hour and a half. At almost 2 hours I had to seek out someone to check the status. No one ever communicated that it would be longer and I was never informed on status even tho I gave my cell number for that purpose. When I spoke to the service manager Eric about thus he threw his service guy under the bus saying that it was on him to keep in touch. When I told him that a good manager takes responsibility, he got angry with me and basically said he managed too many people and he did not have time to make sure everyone was doing their jobs. I then asked him since I was going to be in the market for a new car being that my Santa fe was almost 15 years old why I would want to buy from family hyundai he responded "that's a good question". Well I guess I have my answer. I should add that Collin did call me after I left and offered a free oil change on my next visit. I have worked with Collin for many years while having service done at family hyundai and while I was not impressed with the lack of attention he gave me this time, I don't feel he deserved to be thrown under the bus. More

They do a good job with the exception of when you call you can get a hold of anyone to make a oil appt! You have to go in person . There is a multitude of problems and out and out disservice. Waayyy to much to log here but the final indignity was finding a empty wine bottle under back seat that had been pilfered from my car tru disservice. I had purchased wine for a upcoming relatives open house and left 4 bottles in trunk. After finding the empty bottle opened the trunk and found 3 bottles HOWEVER one had been opened,, about 1/4 bottle gone and bottle recorked..guess the thieves did not care for Josh merlot . I hv called dealership 2 times to report this and waited 16 and 22 mins to hv someone in svc dept pick up to no avail. Hyundai needs to close this dealership down. I spent over $1800 at dealership and can't even get thru to advise them of thieves in their employ. Unbelievable! More

Long wait for servicing. I had an 8:30 appointment for installation of a remote starter. When booking the appointment, I was told it was a 2-3 hour service. I called 5 hou I had an 8:30 appointment for installation of a remote starter. When booking the appointment, I was told it was a 2-3 hour service. I called 5 hours later, and was told the work was even started!! I was told a 3rd party do the installation of starters. Why wasn't I told this when I made the appointment? I thought I was getting the work done by the dealer. I could have taken it to one of the many businesses that do the work, for a lot less money. I didn't get the call saying it was completed until 4:30. I informed them that I needed a ride I was picked up at 5:00. When I arrive at the dealer, my vehicle still wasn't ready! Another 15-30 minutes of waiting. I asked why it took so long, I was told they had a lot of cars. Seems like they were overbooked. I could have came another day. I paid $766. I wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience, such as a discount. Highly disappointed in the service. . More
Given an estimate for a replacement side view mirror. Was informed when I paid for it, that Family would receive it and have it painted and ready to install in 10 days. I called on 4 different days, each time I was promised a return call. Never received a return call. I finally had to go in and see the general manager to get answers. When it was all said and done, it was over 3 weeks to have it installed and the only lame excuse that the GM could come up with as to the reason why no one responded to my 4 calls was that they were busy. That is not an excuse. Especially when I was waiting to speak to him and there were 5 people that I counted who were not working but were socializing. More
