FIAT of Fairfield County

Buying a new car can be a daunting experience, or it can be a beautiful experience. I'm pleased to say I enjoyed the latter. I'd seen the NEW Fiat 500 four years ago in France & knew then, I HAD TO HAVE ON be a beautiful experience. I'm pleased to say I enjoyed the latter. I'd seen the NEW Fiat 500 four years ago in France & knew then, I HAD TO HAVE ONE. Finding a local dealer was not easy. The nearest dealer was about 60 miles away, not an option I was willing to consider. A couple of months ago, Fiat Of Fairfield County opened their doors in Stamford CT - just around the corner from where I live - so I decided to pay them a visit and see if I still had the desire to own the FIAT 500. I met Lisa and Mike, and between them, I had such a great time. I told them I was looking for a car that had a/c, cruise control, electric door locks, electric windows, electric mirror adjusters, good fuel consumption and lastly, it must handle well in the snow. Lisa introduced me to the FIAT 500 POP. We talked about it for ages, I asked all kinds of questions, not to be smart but to know exactly what I was about to be buying. Lisa was excellent, and was able to provide me with answers related to the specific model. When she did not know, Mike was there to lend a hand. I left the show room with some specific questions for Mike and asked that they (Lisa/Mike) e-mail me with the answers. I had a little research on my own to do before making the ultimate decision. Lisa and Mike were swift with their replies, and my research panned out good. Over the phone, Mike took all the information necessary to complete the deal. In the meantime, my wife, and daughter visiting from CA were so excited about the pending deal, we named the car "Evie". So the three of us showed up to collect "Evie" my new FIAT 500 POP. We were welcomed by Lisa and Mike, and after a brief chit chat we got down to business. The transaction went so smoothly, everything was done for me - it was such a pleasure dealing with Lisa and Mike at FIAT Of Fairfield County. And by the way, the following Friday was the huge snow storm that hit the east coast. I was caught right in the midst of it. By the time I reached Stamford, the snow was plentiful, the xxxxxxwere out in full force on the highways and I was so thrilled at the way this NOT SO LITTLE car handled in the snow, I decided to drive right to the dealer to attest to the great handling. Pulling out the driveway of FOFC turning west, I was confronted with thick snow on a rather steep incline with a heavy road camber to the right. For a fleeting moment, I wondered if I was going to make it to the top of the hill or end up on the side of the road. Once again, the ESC control did its job and kept the car straight and I made it safely to the top and then home. I was quite apprehensive about the handling in the snow, but my doubts were quickly dismissed. The ESC control and the all-wheel breaking system kept the car on a straight path. If you're looking for a small (not so small inside) car with good fuel consumption, consider the FIAT 500. Professional, inviting, attentive, informative was my initial impression opening the door and meeting Lisa. That first impression continued with the service staff. When I got a flat tire 2 days later @ 6pm, I called rob for guidance and help and immediately received both along with concern about my safety and follow-up calls from rob and keith while I waited. EVEN Rob who was at home picked up my call and called back to check on me twice! This terrific service continued well after closing hours, WOW thats what I call SERVICE!
