I was very pleased with the dealership. Got the car I wanted and a decent price on my trade. Better than other dealers of which I inquired. Paperwork was a bit confusing when the deal was written up-seems they charged me for NH sales tax when I intend to register car in Maine. They blamed the computer program and said I should simply cross this out and reduce the price by that amount. Initially this didn't inspire a lot of confidence. Other that this one snag-the rest of the team worked hard to make the overall experience positive and enjoyable. More
It was my first dealership that I went to, and the first place that I test drove a vehicle. The dealership building is very comfortable and not intimidating. Sales people approch you but do not try to pressure you into anything. After my first test drive the sales person would give me email updated on new invatory that came into the dealership and other dealership news. I am Very happy I bought my car through them. More

I like the used car that I purchased however there were several things that happened to the car after the purchase. First, I discovered the front brakes were bad but the dealership put on new brakes and ro several things that happened to the car after the purchase. First, I discovered the front brakes were bad but the dealership put on new brakes and rotors "no charge". Then the plastic splash shield was loose and broken and had to be removed. The front tires have difficulty keeping air for some reason. This week I need to replace the altenator, 2 belts and the battery, parts and labor $570. Ouch. With my purchase I was given the Advantage Plan which included some additional services. One of them was $100 VSC Deductible Waiver. When I called the service department they did not know what this was. Still not sure. Huh? Good news is the car gets good gas mileage, and it looks nice. Overall I am satisfied, after all it's an older car and things are bound to happen. Price was a little more than I wanted to pay but I liked the make, model, color options and gas mileage. People are friendly and I would recommend the dealership, just check out the older used cars well before you buy. Thanks! More

The salesman was not pushy and simply showed us the car we were looking at. Then he spoke to us about our budget and our needs. We had one small concern about the vehicle we wanted to purchase and our salesman was very open to hearing it and then found a way to give us fair and appropriate compensation for it- just like that, no more questions asked. In one short conversation we were able to make it all work and we had a deal. The staff made our purchase experience simple and virtually stress free. We are happy we made the trip and we are completely satisfied with our new car and the overall experience. Thanks! More
I would highly recommend visiting Exeter Subaru for your next new or used Subaru vehicle. Although I'm certain that I would have had an equally positive experience with any of the sales associates, my experience was with John and Karisa. I am not only new to the area, I am also new to New Hampshire. My purchase was not a substantial one in dollars, to the dealership, since I was looking for a used vehicle for my college age daughter. Karisa stayed in contact with me for several weeks in order to find what I was looking for. When I finally decided on the right vehicle in their used inventory Karisa was out of the office for a couple days. In order to make sure I didn't lose my choice to another buyer by waiting, John stepped in to not only provide me with all the information and answered questions I needed, he was also willing to work with me on a fair price. He made sure I had an opportunity to check out the car in my test drive in a manner that I am sure would be equal to a test drive on a new car. I know that my daughter will be excited about her car when she returns from college and I will feel that she is safe driving in a Subaru.
