Third consecutive visit, and third one with issues. (Also third survey requested without a response.) Great dealership for sales, but not one to visit for Service. On this particular visit only... I made an appointment 2 weeks out for a Friday noon slot. The Friday of my appointment, I received a call at 10:15am from katie, telling me the service dept was closed for lunch every day at noon, and that Service was also running approximately 2 hours behind schedule for the day. She asked if I could reschedule. I could not reschedule, as I needed the service AND the security update installed on my vehicle. (This was my 3rd attempt to have the security update installed.) I asked why I was allowed to schedule for noon if the service area was closed, and then asked why the service group didn't call me several days before to reschedule if they knew they were closed at noon. Katie said she didn't know why the "system" let me book the appointment, and said to me that i could bring the car in at noon, but nothing would be worked on for several hours. I did bring my car in at 1pm to complete my requested services (and the security patch install). It was approximately a 90 minute wait. Knowing I was already disgruntled at the lack of communication, I felt service advisor Harrison chose a poor day to attempt upselling for services. This is my third consecutive sour visit to Executive Kia. Although Wallingford is a more convenient location, I will book future service appointments at another location not part of the Executive family. More
