I brought my 2010 Forester in for Takata Air bag... I also asked them to troubleshoot and fix a problem with my steering, where it clunks (sticks on something) at slow speeds, when turning sharply (as in also asked them to troubleshoot and fix a problem with my steering, where it clunks (sticks on something) at slow speeds, when turning sharply (as into a parking space), but only after the car is driven hard for at least 15 mins. They seemed to have looked in the book (without actually driving it at all) and came up with a quick and lazy answer... "found clunk over bumps at low speeds) and charged me nearly $300 to fix a problem I did not ask to be fixed and to my knowledge did not exist! Also, I asked them to do a TX state inspection. They said the OBD reader wouldn't work so they couldn't... but of course they would be willing to troubleshoot at their high hourly rate... I was able to say to NO to that. But very disappointed they didn't even check the fuse! More
