Customer service is horrible. I purchased a 2013 Legacy in 2013. Recently I brought the car in for routine service (oil change). To my surprise the service receptionist comes to I purchased a 2013 Legacy in 2013. Recently I brought the car in for routine service (oil change). To my surprise the service receptionist comes to me with an estimate saying I need 4 new tires. The car has only 7200 miles on it. It is 2 years old and I am told the sidewalls on my tires have dry rot. She gave me an estimate of 2 lower quality tire models and then priced the Bridgestone tires (Original tires from Subaru) at $249.00 each. I did not go for it. I called several days later asking to speak to Jim Ertle (he assisted the salesman with the sale). He wasn't there so I left a message with his receptionist explaining my dilemma. About 1/2 hour later the service manager called. Once again I explained the problem. He remembered me and told me there was nothing he could do because there is no warranty on the tires. It appeared as if he didn't seem to care. Four tires 7200 miles on the Legacy and it is unsafe to drive with four dry rotted (sidewall) tires. I called Subaru customer service and the representative also said there is no warranty. I proceeded to tell him I would trade it in for a different brand car. The representative from Subaru was very concerned about me leaving "the product" so he contacted Bridgestone and told me to bring the car to a local dealer. That is the Firestone Auto Center in Stroudsburg. To my surprise the manager was very understanding and he pro-rated the tires (even though there is no warranty on them) and sold me 60,00 mile tires at $225.00 for all four. Ertle is horrible. No attempt to help me. They just kept saying "low mileage causes dry rot". Sure it does, but in PA? Bottom line is Subaru stepped up to the plate, Bridgestone stepped up to the plate. ERTLE LEFT ME STRANDED!!!! They will never see me nor the vehicle again. The dealer stinks and I wouldn't buy another Subaru because it seems the original tires that come with the vehicle are low grade if not basic garbage. More

Went to the reception desk and had to interrupt someone in order to get a welcome. When I expressed I was interested I a test drive and buying a vehicle I was told they would check to see if anyone was available. After 10 minutes of browsing the floor went back to the same person who told me "oh I don't think anyone is available". Meanwhile there were at least 2 workers on the floor. Again no welcome, no how may I help you or even a goodbye as I left. Everyone seemed to be at a computer or walking around. What a way to sell cars. Oh well, some other dealership will be happy to take my money. More
Great Dealership I purchased a 2015 Forester and had a great experience dealing with Yanni Korovesis. I went in there with the notion that I would meet the typical car salesman but to my surprise Yanni was so helpful, that my choice was easy.. He was honest, friendly and quite knowledgeable in all aspects of each model. I got a great price on my trade in and I feel a good price on the new car. I don't feel I was taken at all. I know that in purchasing my next car - it's going to be a Subaru and Yanni will be my sales guy of choice. Thanks Ertle for the great experience. More
I bought a crosstrek xv at Ertle Subaru from Yanni Korovesis who was not only honest with me, but helpful and not pushy like other dealers can be. I was also quite surprised how knowledgeable he was. Korovesis who was not only honest with me, but helpful and not pushy like other dealers can be. I was also quite surprised how knowledgeable he was. I am sure the owner and manager are both proud to have him on their staff. I also had a very pleasant experience with Bill from service and manager Chuck from service. I had numerous accessories installed on my car and it was done well without a hitch. More

We looke To Whom It May Concern: I was there Monday, August 19th looking at possibilities. We were greeted by a salesman by the name of, “Joe”. We looked at several cars in the lot. We asked to look inside of one of the cars with no success. We then asked if we could test drive a vehicle – his response was, “there is too much traffic on 611 by the mall”. Odd, because we went to two other dealers and we went for a test drive with both salesmen. Disappointed and a bit insulted. We will try another Sabaru dealer either in Bethlehem or New Jersey. I started to have issues with my clutch slip, but my mileage is WAY too low for something like this. I purchased the car from a different dealership, but went to Ertle because after several hours of goo mileage is WAY too low for something like this. I purchased the car from a different dealership, but went to Ertle because after several hours of googling the symptoms it lead to a warranty issue. I dropped the vehicle off and went on my merry way. I get a call from them telling me I abused the clutch and it is not covered under warranty. After I explained that I have only had the car for around 2500 miles he felt bad because it turns out the previous owner rode the clutch something fierce. They wanted 1500 dollars to replace the clutch. That is RIDICULOUS. It is double everywhere else. So I told them just give me my car back and I'll get it done elsewhere. Now I am being told I have to be 450 dollars in labor for them to diagnose that it wasn't a warranty issue. They worked with me down to 1250 but its still ridiculous. I'm still currently fighting with them to get my vehicle out of their maintenance bay. More
Found the car I was looking for online. It was an 03 is300 with higher mileage just like I wanted. Pictures looked great so I emailed about availability. The car was still available and so I asked multi is300 with higher mileage just like I wanted. Pictures looked great so I emailed about availability. The car was still available and so I asked multiple times for them to confirm the condition of the vehicle. Jennifer was the Internet sales manager I was dealing with. She assured me the car was in good shape and needed nothing. We came to an agreement on price and I put a deposit on it. I then drove 5 hours to pick it up from Erie pa. Upon arrival I find that it was nothing like was promised. The tires may have had 50% tread. The front bumper was scraped all around the fog light. Both front fenders had rust and large paint chips. Rear bumper and 1/4 had a large scrape and was starting to form a bubbling rust. 3 of the 4 wheels were corroded and best yet the car had been bottomed out and had some damage underneath. It was evident by the side skirts huge crease in it. Their story goes, the Internet manager had never even gone to look at the car! Instead she asked her assistant to take pictures for me and she so kindly avoided all the areas I would have been concerned about. How does a dealership try to sell a car without ever looking at it? I do not recommend this dealership, and I feel as if I was someone they were trying I take advantage of. During my visit there the sales manager refused to come and talk to me and said there was nothing he could do. Wouldn't even pay for gas. Needless to say I didn't buy the car, nor will I ever return. I had a great experience buying a new Subaru at this dealer. They gave me the best price on my trade and the lowest price on the new car of any Subaru dealer within 50 miles. The sales, service and fina dealer. They gave me the best price on my trade and the lowest price on the new car of any Subaru dealer within 50 miles. The sales, service and finance staff were all a pleasure to deal with. There was no pressure at all and things moved along very smoothly. I've dealt with other dealers in the area and this is by far the best. I would recommend them to anyone. More
