Service advisors are there to ADVISE - NOT to belittle and talk down to the customer! Recently I brought in my vehicle for its 15000 service and expected an oil change to be included. Erick began to argue and talk down to the customer! Recently I brought in my vehicle for its 15000 service and expected an oil change to be included. Erick began to argue with me that I would not get an oil change on this service. I mentioned that I always get oil changes and tire rotations on all my vehicles every 5000 miles and he stated, in an agitated/argumentative voice that I would not be getting one this time as it was not included. This attitude is unacceptable as an advisor needs to advise and EXPLAIN to customers why things are being done or need to be done. If I was incorrect, he needed to explain the service plan with me instead of being quite disrespectful. I concluded my interaction with him and as I was walking out, I spoke to the Service Manager regarding Erick, who seemed to care less about my interaction with Erick. I stated that If I needed to deal with Erick in the future, I would be finding a different dealership to service my vehicles. It should be mentioned that this is the second time Erick has checked my car in and in the initial time his attitude was quite abrasive. I let that time pass as it was just a bad day, but I see that there is a continuing attitude issue. Every other service person during my visits has been quite good. More
