The only reason for the (above) four stars (instead of five) is the new and confusing (for me at least) is the (new to me anyway) service department checkout and car pick procedure. Instead of simply going inside to the cashier, paying my bill, and then stepping outside to await (never more than a couple of minutes) car, yesterday I was told that I needed to go back outside and pay the service writer who wrote up my car earlier in the day. ??? I went over to his station and he was busy with another customer so I waited out in the breezeway, three other people were waiting there as well. After standing there a few minutes a service manager (nice guy, did not get his name) came across the lane and checked me out. I pointed out that my car was up on the North parking lot and he went to check, he came back and got the keys for my car and an SUV parked behind it and finally brought my car around. Having the service writers act as cashiers seems counter-productive, confusing, and inefficient to me. I pay with a credit card ... what if I wanted to use cash, does each service writer have a cash drawer at their station? Bought my 2017 Ford Explorer in on 7/11/2024 for a transmission issue, problem with driver seat cooler, and Sync issue. They found no issue with the transmission, repaired the other two issues. Now, there is a problem with the front air bag warning light. I am very disappointed with Envision Ford of Duarte's service. The Service Writers are good people. Their philosophy seems to be "just get the car in for service". "Once we have it, the customer will just have to wait". More
