*** Long but Please Read in Full *** I went in to *** Long but Please Read in Full *** I went in to purchase a Nissan Maxima from the new Route 22 Nissan location after having a bad experience man *** Long but Please Read in Full *** I went in to purchase a Nissan Maxima from the new Route 22 Nissan location after having a bad experience many years ago from the same dealership where I purchased my first 2001 Nissan Maxima New. They offer a deal where if you refer someone they pay 1 month of your car note. My friend Ray referred me and told me that the dealership was all new and the atmosphere was much more positive and professional. Skeptical, but willing to help a great friend I went. I was referred to Carlos Freitas, and that was the beginning of a Beautiful Experience. Carlos is by far the worlds most ethical and professional salesman, I Have ever met. Why is that relevant? Because I have personal friends who work at different dealerships around the country. Not knowing Carlos, I got a deal that I would have gotten from a long time friend. I truly and honestly felt that he was there to help me and look out for my best interest the entire time. He was hard working professional and kept me aware of any relevant detail throughout the entire transaction. I never felt like anyone was being pushy and that I was being taken advantage of. Carlos worked with Sal who sadly seems to have moved on from the dealership since my purchase. Sal was awesome. Very much like my feelings for Carlos Sal helped in every way possible and although I am very cautious about sales managers. I think a small or even moderate amount of money is a great measure of a man. Sal informed me (without me noticing mind you) that there was a small scratch on the car. He referred me to someone who does great body work for cheap that he knows and even offered to give me a check to cover the repair or part of it at least ($200) He told me I can use it to fix it, go to dinner with the wife, whatever I want. I moved forward with the deal and this agreement was not on paper anywhere in the sale. I got financed, approved, drove away with my car the same day and picked up my plates which were ready right on time. I just came from the dealership today and I picked up my $200 check that Sal Promised would be there. Despite the fact that it wasn't on paper anywhere in the transaction, the check was there people!!! Carlos helped me pick the check up since Sal is gone. I was ready to see this check not be there and them basically tell me that I'm screwed. $200 is a small price to pay to find the measure of a man. Carlos and Sal are top notch people. I got this check even though they had every opportunity to screw me on this. I'm sad Sal is not with the dealer anymore, guys like him will be missed. People, Listen up! Carlos Freitas is still there. If you are nervous to buy a car, take it from me. Call the dealership and ask to make an appointment with Carlos Frietas. He is an honest, professional, and amazing person that will have you smiling ear to ear as you drive off the lot with your new car. Knowing that everything is in good hands. So I am a young adult looking to buy a used car. I went to Nissan in hillside today because I previously bought a used car from them years ago, and it was a good experience. I am now in a better position with my credit and job, so I'm looking to buy a new (used) car. Minute I parked my car in the parking lot, I was greeted by a sales man finishing his break. I come into the building with the salesman, and right off the bat he starts asking me financial questions ( which I can kind of understand, I look kind of young and am a young adult ) so I answer those questions and tell him I have my own personal car loan and I would just to like to look at cars for the time being, and right away he tries to get me to get finance, or try to convince me. ( saying I cant get the price that car sticker has because it because of financing) I just said i would like to look at cars and talk about the financial stuff afterwards. As we start looking at a few cars, he still tries to push the finance talk to me again, I got a little irritated, and asked him if we can talk about that after, I want to look at the cars for now and he said ok. So as we look around and talk about one of the cars, he gets a phone call, which i was ok with because he was with a customer on the phone. Then I see a car I want to test drive... So he gets the keys and plate and we go into the car. It didn't start due to a dead battery. After I jumped started the vehicle ( because the salesman did not know how to jump a car! ) Test drive was fine, and i still wanted to look at another car, but he brought me inside to talk about the car i just test drove. He immediately says I'll be right back, and I'm standing there for a good 5-8 minutes. Then out of nowhere he comes with his sales manager.( which i don't understand why he was involved since we didn't even talk about the car yet.), He tells me they have a special going on and I can get the car for a certain price, that i was previously told by my sales man that I could only get if i financed it thru them. So I was lied to. Then they tried to push me to come back into tomorrow, to which i said ok, but i would still like to look at another car in their lot. So the sales manager says ok thats fine, and im left with the sales man again. To which he said be right back again... and this time i was left in there for 10 minutes, only to be brushed off and turned away. I was told by the sales manager they have their ONE dealer plate was being in used, and i could not test drive or look at cars now. I don't know the real reason why they brushed me off, but i can only assume it was because i gave the impression i was shopping cars, or due to the fact that I look young. but either way, I felt brushed off when i left that dealer ship. Truly unfortunate, because I was eager to look and maybe buy a car today. I would not recommend this dealer ship to my peers. More

This is my 9th car from this dealership. Both Aziz and Nisarg went above and beyond to help me with my purchases. They even went all the way to upstate NY to get my Mercedes S63. I had visited Rt. 22 Nissan in search of a used car. Unlike other dealers despite my credit they made me feel important. Sal & Richie took the time to explain everything to me and helped me get into a car that I liked and fit my budget. 2 days later the car had a very foul oder. I took the car back and Sal was very understanding and put me in a loaner while they tried to fix it. a week later I went back to pick up my car. The oder was still there. Sal assured me he would take care of it and told service it was unacceptable. 2 weeks later I went to get my car and the oder was still there. I expected them to argue with me but Sal was very understanding and caring. He took me out of the car and put me in a 2010 sentra with no oder lol. I'm very happy with my car. I have to say it was a stressful situation for me but through it all the sales manager was very understanding and caring. He made the difference. I would definatly buy another car from him. More
