Do yourself a favor, stay away from this dealership! Trust me they are crooks and check their Better Business Bureau rating BBB.org, its a F! Numerous complaints against them. "$20,500 all fees incl Trust me they are crooks and check their Better Business Bureau rating BBB.org, its a F! Numerous complaints against them. "$20,500 all fees included except tax." said Mike. When I arrived to the dealership, I asked for Mike, they didn't know who I was talking about, that was the first red flag. I sat down with a different salesman, I told him lets cut to the chase and talk about pricing since I already know what I want. I was told $24,000, I told the salesman I already spoke to "Mike" before I got there and was given the price $20,500. Salesperson came back with the manager. The manager said he didn't know who gave me the price and he is trying to find out who did, that's the second red flag. I was thinking "What is this lame excuse!" I bluntly said "Who did? Did the customer over there (pointing to a person on the showroom floor) pick up the phone? Did this customer (another person on the floor) pick up the phone? No! Somebody here did! Last red flag was when he tried to suggest that I might have dialed a wrong/ different dealership. I said "Really? If we go on NissanUSA.com they will have your dealership phone number wrong?" THIRD RED FLAG. The place is run by no good bunch of crooks. More
I have leased 2 previous cars from Route 22 Nissan and was a happy customer for the past 6 years. Yesterday I tried to lease a new vehicle and the leasing manager GEORGE was very rude and impatient. I lef was a happy customer for the past 6 years. Yesterday I tried to lease a new vehicle and the leasing manager GEORGE was very rude and impatient. I left within 1 hr, they didn't want to negotiate nothing! Never coming back to Route 22 Nissan! In fact for the money they offered to lease a Murano I can easily lease an MDX or a BMW X3! Customer service at this joint sucks above and beyond. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone! More
I would not recommend this dealer. First of all they have a big advertisement on their website saying that they will give $3000 minimum for any trade in which is not true. When I got there they told me my tr a big advertisement on their website saying that they will give $3000 minimum for any trade in which is not true. When I got there they told me my trade in would have to be appraised. I had called and made an appointment to see an Xterra they had in stock. I came down the same day to see it and they told me I could not see the vehicle because it was being worked on for regular maintenance. I made the mistake of going back the following week to see another Xterra which was overpriced compared to what that vehicle was going for in the area. In addition, the salesperson told me the first time that the price listed on the vehicle was a financed price and I had to make an additional $1995 deposit. When I went back the second time, the same person told me that deposit was $2995. Of course he denied it when I mentioned that he gave me two different amounts for the deposit. More
I put a deposit down on a car to hold. They called me back with an offer for the car that didn't meet my standards, so I said I was no longer interested. They have since kept my deposit and have given m back with an offer for the car that didn't meet my standards, so I said I was no longer interested. They have since kept my deposit and have given me the run around as to trying to refund my deposit. I have told them what my bank needed and it could be faxed over. It would've taken them 5 mins to write up what they needed and fax over to my bank, but I keep getting a, "Ok, we'll do it from our end then" bit. Sorry for them though, because I had asked Paul for a copy of what I had signed (always ask for copies, copies, copies) which stated that the deposit was 100% refundable. I have not heard a word from him or the dealership and it has now been a couple days. I do not recommend this dealership and their motto is completely false advertising, with, "Customer satisfaction is our main priority." I will be seeking an attorney if this matter does not get resolved!!!!!! More
I went on their website and saw they had a used 2009 I went on their website and saw they had a used 2009 Toyata Corolla for 12,899 with only 15,000 miles. Even though I thought it was too good to I went on their website and saw they had a used 2009 Toyata Corolla for 12,899 with only 15,000 miles. Even though I thought it was too good to be true I gave them a call and they said they had the car. I asked if the price was negotiable and they said it was so I told them I would come down there the next day and check it out. I made the two hour drive to the dealership and as they said the car was there. The only problem was it had a sold sign on it. The Sold sign was written on a white piece of computer paper with a sharpie pen. I could sense that something was not right and after asking them repeatedly they finally told me that the car was for sale and they removed the sign. I found out later that they were waiting for the weekend to sell it so they could get a good price for it. They told me that the price was not negotiable even thought they told me it was on the phone. They also told me that I had to finance with their bank in order to get a reasonable interest rate. They then offered me an unreasonable interest rate and I spent three hours arguing with them. After 3 hours of negotiating we finally reached a reasonable price and then they proceeded to tack on ridiculous charges that added another 3,000 dollars on the price. I understand that naturally some extra fees apply when purchasing a car but after I did some research on my blackberry as I sat in the finance office I found out they were really trying to rob me. At this point I was fuming. I fought with them and they finally dropped the fees that they had told me were mandatory in the beginning. They are liars. I entered the dealership at 9:30 am and left with my car at 6:00 pm. Unfortunaltely my troubles did not end there. They slapped a 20 day non resident temporary plate sticker on my car and sent me on my way. So I figured hey in about two weeks my plates will be in and will never have to deal with these people again. They said they would call me when my plates arrived. So waited..... and waited but I didn't hear from them and I did not have my plates. So I called them and they were rude and nasty. I spoke to the finance guy Nisarg and he was incredibly rude. They told me it was out of their hands and the plates would come whenever they came. So why then did they give me a twenty day permit? I waited six weeks and I still did not have my plates. I called and called the dealership and at one point I was on hold for over an hour. When I finally spoke to someone they showed little concern and said that they would pay for a ticket if I got one and that was all. I waited two more weeks. In EIGHT weeks I finally got my plates and they never called they just shipped them to me. I made a mistake by buying a car from them. It was a nightmare and I would never recommend Route 22 Nissan, not even to my worst enemy. On a side note I called my bank right after I bought the car and I transfered they financing of the car to my bank and recieced a great interest rate. More
I should've read these other reviews before going there. I responded to an ad for an Infiniti M35x and set an appointment for later in the week. I followed up the day of the appointment via email to ensure I responded to an ad for an Infiniti M35x and set an appointment for later in the week. I followed up the day of the appointment via email to ensure the appointment was on and the car was still there. I drive 2 hours to the dealership with intent to buy and it turns out the vehicle is "missing." (Wasn't sold, but they can't find it.) I calmly try to deal with the Arrogant Sales Manager and his first response was, "I don't know where it is, how about a brand new Maxima instead?" He spent the next 5 minutes explaining things happen and it's not his fault. I explained that I drove two hours away for the appointment and they STILL told me the car was on the lot and to come on in. I calmly requested $20.00 for gas money as it was the dealerships fault, but he just walked away and nobody helped me. Nissan is a great product to buy, but this dealership was a terrible experience from the start...even before I saw the product. Please use other dealerships, as this one is the poster child for "the typical car salesman." More
After seeing the ad for a 2007 CRV I called and talked to Kelvin. As usual he promised that price is highly negotiable (even there ad was saying so : 2007 Honda CR-V EX - WhiteWE ARE VEEERY NEGOTIABLE!!! - Kelvin. As usual he promised that price is highly negotiable (even there ad was saying so : 2007 Honda CR-V EX - WhiteWE ARE VEEERY NEGOTIABLE!!! - $13555 (THIS IS ONE SWEETHEART OF A DEAL!!!) Once we reached at dealer place very first response was: kelvin is a great guy. he will do everything to bring you here but we can't go down from stated price and you have to finance from us otherwise you have to pay more. When I said we need to stop it here then he went inside and after 15 minute he came back with a GR8 DEAL: $200 OFF IF I WILL DRIVE TODAY. When I said I don't want answer was: You guys have a good day. Never go to this dealer... More
Every dirty trick in the book. They told me they had a car online and I drove my 9 month pregnant wife 50 minutes to purchase it after price was negotiated over the phone. When I got there they tried to s car online and I drove my 9 month pregnant wife 50 minutes to purchase it after price was negotiated over the phone. When I got there they tried to sell me something else, because the features of the car on the web "could have those options, but it does not mean they will have them". I'm pretty sure false advertisement is illegal. I've already contacted the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney to ruffle their feathers as they did mine. And it will reflect on their dealer licenses. More
Terrible. They don't really allow you to pay in cash, since they claim that they only get their commission through their leasing company, which is also probably theirs anyway. If you do pay cash, you hav since they claim that they only get their commission through their leasing company, which is also probably theirs anyway. If you do pay cash, you have to pay an extra 1500 on top of the already 1500 you have to add on top of the "finance now" price. Also, as soon as I was assigned a salesperson, he immediately asked me to move my car from the parking lot to the nearby tacobell claiming that they owned that lot also and saying it was because "our trucks pass by and we don't want your car to get hit". (FYI the parking lot was extremely limited and narrow. They wanted to free up parking space since they knew that we were talking to a salesperson already). The car I came to see was advertised online. It has been up for the past week so I finally decided to go and visit. At first, while he was showing me around the cars and looking for the one I inquired about, he told me that it was a new arrival and it was in the shop for cleaning. He said it would be finished later today. So I started looking at other cars while I waited. When we got back inside to discuss prices and payment methods (this was just for information's sake, we hadn't decided on a car yet) he went to talk to his manager about the car I actually came to look for. He came back outside after a few minutes and told me "the car just got sold today". Feeling dumbfounded at how little knowledge he knew about which cars he had in stock and how he tried to lie his way through, I told him thanks and immediately left. The next few days, the online advertisement on cars.com for that same car was still up. It was actually up for another week or two before finally being taken down. It seems to me that they decided to keep that false advertisement up to reel in customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT EVEN APPROACHING WITHIN 10 METERS OF THIS DEALERSHIP. YOU WILL THANK ME. More
You know i came online just to write a bad review about this place, which i never do but trust me - its the most horrible place to buy a car. I regret not coming on here to read the reviews sooner!! Te this place, which i never do but trust me - its the most horrible place to buy a car. I regret not coming on here to read the reviews sooner!! Terrible terrible people. I left a deposit check in april and didnt get it back till this month, july. I played phone tag with several of the employees there, saying that they mailed several checks. When i drove out there (i live in NY) i found out that they hadnt even mailed me one check!! The sales people were terrible and one of them had the NERVE to say he didnt want our business. My husbands response? Lets just say it wasnt pleasant. They should be closed down. If you want to buy a car, STAY away from these horrible people. Learn from the reviews here and DO NOT GO HERE TO BUY YOUR CAR!! Terrible deals, terrible people, and if you get into a mess, its the last place you want to deal with. STAY AWAY. STAY Far FAR away!
