When my wife came back to have the wipers adjusted, Dave graciously demonstrated the workings of the equipment again to her. We both feel confident, that if needed, he would make every effort to assist us. We would definitely recommend that a perspective buyer seek out Dave as their sales person More
To my surprise, this was one of the best experiences that I have ever encountered at a car dealership. I came to buy of the pre-owned cars, which this dealership happened to advertise. I anticipated to hear I have ever encountered at a car dealership. I came to buy of the pre-owned cars, which this dealership happened to advertise. I anticipated to hear that the car was no longer available and/or that the price advertised wasn't true or something along those lines. It was very refreshing and reassuring that what I came for was exactly what I hoped for... The used Nissan Maxima was sitting on the dealer's lot filled with gas and ready to be taken home. Mike, the sales manager, along with his salesman Angelo, made the whole purchase very smooth and friendly. These guys offered me to test drive the car and even asked if I would prefer to go by myself if I felt more comfortable driving alone. The price was exactly what was posted online and within an hour I was on my way home with a beautiful Nissan Maxima. I would definitely reccomend anyone looking for a car to contact these guys. They know how to treat a customer. More
I came to this Dealer in hopes that my $2500 down and pretty poor credit would get me a reliable car that I need to travel to work and back. Carlos the salesperson treated me like a member of the family pretty poor credit would get me a reliable car that I need to travel to work and back. Carlos the salesperson treated me like a member of the family assuring me that he would do everything he could to help me. We looked around in the Used car area and I saw many things I liked but exactly what I could afford was another story. Carlos saw the look on my face and he seemed to know what I was thinking and told me not to worry lets find some good sound transportation that you can afford. I saw several cars and choose a 2007 Altima with 54,000 miles. Carlos introduced me to Christian the Finance person who also made me feel comfortable. Christian explained the process and proceeded to submit my credit history to the banks. Well after about 45 minutes Christian delivered the Bad news. Christian told me that the banks he submitted my history to had all turned me down. Christian told me that there was a bank that he would call on Monday and try to persuade them to give me a chance. I left feeling pretty much down and did not really feel like I was going to get any help, these guys tried but the same result as other dealers. At least so I thought. On Monday morning I received a call from Christian that his last lender decided to give me a chance. Unbeliveable is all I can say. No one else could help but Christian got it done. Thanks Christian and Route 22 Nissan. I know alot of people in my situation and I'll be sure to tell them about Carlos and Christian. More
I went to Route 22 Nissan because I was referred by a friend who is also very happy with his purchase. I was treated like family by this dealer, they were knowledgable, friendly and patient. I must say t friend who is also very happy with his purchase. I was treated like family by this dealer, they were knowledgable, friendly and patient. I must say they really seem to care!!! I have since been back for my first scheduled service and was treated equally as well by the service personel. You know this dealer cares for the customer from the moment that you arrive offering valet or parkng assistance your choice offered by a friendly gentleman. The salesman was friendly and knowledgable and very patient. The salesmanager Steve was terrifc helping to answer questons as well. The entire experience was a total contradiction to the stigma that surrounds the anxiety associated with buying a new car. On delivary of my car as I was leaving I was lucky enough to bump into a Gentleman by the name of Joe who merely introduced himself as a Joe but I later learned that this was the General Manager, I was shocked that this was the top man, he was as humble and appreciative as any other individual in the store. He thanked me for being a customer and wished me luck on my purchase and seemed to genuinely care that I was satisfied with my overall experience, he then handed me his card and said if I ever needed any hep in the future not to hesitat to call. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and shocked since my experience with managers at other dealerships were not all that good, let alone the General Manager being so friendly and accessable. Overall I think it's obvious that I was treated well and enjoyed my experience and still continue to enjoy my vehicle. More
I have visited Route 22 Nissan about 10 days ago and had an excellent experience with their staff. These guys were friendly and knowledgeable. The best part about the dealership is that they didn’t apply any pressure to buy on the spot. As a woman, I appreciated the layback approach and the fact that I was treated with courtesy and respect. Since my first visit, I stayed in communication with my salesman, who made sure that I would be aware of all my options and choices. I ended up buying a new Nissan Maxima from this dealership and would recommend for anyone, who is looking for a new car to go to Route 22 Nissan in Hillside New Jersey More
I believe that praise should be given whenever a person or a business deserves one. A couple of days ago, I was on my way to another Nissan dealership to lease a new Nissan Rogue and when I passed Route 22 or a business deserves one. A couple of days ago, I was on my way to another Nissan dealership to lease a new Nissan Rogue and when I passed Route 22 Nissan on the way to another store, I decided to stop in and check them out. I was welcomed warmly by their staff and after less than 40 minutes in the dealership, found myself signing a new lease agreement. The sales manager Steve and his (assistant ?) Aziz made the whole experience shopping there so smooth and easy. I bought many cars in my life, but this last deal was probably the best deal that I ever got. Not only the price was the lowest that have seen anywhere, but I felt appreciated as a customer and a human being. Bravo Route 22 Nissan. I will be more than happy to recommend these guys to anyone, wants to buy a car. More
We made an appointment on their web site to test drive a 2011 used Xterra. When we arrived parking sucked (there is not enough parking for their customers). We asked for Justine and were passed to Manuel wh 2011 used Xterra. When we arrived parking sucked (there is not enough parking for their customers). We asked for Justine and were passed to Manuel who had no clue of why we were there. Upon explaining our purpose for a test drive he disappeared for 10 minutes only to come out to say they had no idea we had an appointment for a test drive that night. He asked who we made the appointment with and we told him Justine. Manual then disappeared for another 15 minutes only to arrive back stating that Justine was not there and they had sold the test drive vehicle eariler that day. We then asked about any of the remaining 2011 Xterra listed on there web site. Manual said they were all sold out but could get a new 2011 Xterra prepped from their second lot for a test drive in an hour and a half. We left at this point to test drive an Xterra at another Nissan dealer down the road in Springfield, NJ. The next day we received a phone call from Justine asking if we made it last night for our test drive. We explained to her what we were told by Manuel. Justine told us there was no Manuel that worked there and she would check into this right away. We told her that we had already test drove an Xterra at another dealer. Ten minutes later the mysterious Manuel called as directed by Justine and asked if we were ready to come in and test drive the Xterra. Manuel said he could get one ready for us by the time we arrived that night. We told him that we explained to Justine already that we test drove the vehicle. He asked if we purchased it yet and we said "no" but that we would not buy from their dealership and they had missed the opportunity. More
Route 22 Nissan in Hillside New Jersey is very deceptive in their advertising. They use the ole "Bait and Switch" tactic. They list really nice cars with low milage at an incredible price, but when you get in their advertising. They use the ole "Bait and Switch" tactic. They list really nice cars with low milage at an incredible price, but when you get to the dealership those cars are not there. I was following this dealership for a while and I would check their website daily. When a batch of new cars came on the site I would go down to the dealership to look at them, and of course those cars were never on the lot. I asked the internet manager how come these cars are never there and he only said they were not available, never offering me any other explanantion. So before you get excited and run down to their dealership to look at a car you saw online, call up first and ask if it's on the lot, and make sure you get the name of the person you spoke to, so you can call them a liar to their face! I was going to buy a car so when I tried to call the dealership to find out the final price, the sales assistant was unbelievably rude to me, transferred me to somebody and my call was never answered! Outstanding dealership! Very helpful sales staff, friendly but not pushy. Even had a service tech ask if we had any maintenance or service questions before we closed the purchase! They showed me carf friendly but not pushy. Even had a service tech ask if we had any maintenance or service questions before we closed the purchase! They showed me carfax's and let me drive any car I wanted on the lot. And then I set my eye on a car that wasn't up for sale yet, because it was having a window motor fixed. Psh, they let me drive it, take it to go get checked out and of course, of course, that's their job, but they were so laid back and accommodating that I kept having to remind myself that used car dealers are shady and trying to get as much money as possible out of me and to keep my guard up. I ended up buying that car, More
