My issue isnt with the experience I had while buying the car i purchased.. Its what happened after I purchased the car... On 6/30 I found a used car that i liked and took it for a test drive.. The car drove smooth and I was told everything was ok with the car.. Three days later as I am driving off of the highway, the power steering goes and I had to struggle to get the car back to my house. I call the dealer the same day and they said "well its a used car so bring it in and we MIGHT be able to fix it". I bring the car to the service department(rudest people I have ever met) and was told it would take a day or two to fix. Ok but the only problem there is I traded in my previous car so how am I supposed to get to work for one or two days. I asked if they had loaner cars(their answer was no), and was taken to a rental car place close by in hopes that they had a vehicle I could rent. $70 later (after I had already given the dealer a huge down payment) I have a rental car and was told they would call me when my car was fixed.. Well the next day I ended up having to call 4 times and was finally told "Oh yea it was ready since yesterday".. So I rented a vehicle for nothing when I could have just waited there for the car.. I pick up the car and am driving great until the same issue that they CLAIMED to have fixed happens again... The power steering goes out AGAIN!!! I called back and spoke to Sal and Rich in service and was told again "well it was a used car so we can't do anything for you now" since it was now 30 days later.. Overall I would never buy a car from this dealer new or Used nor would I recommend this dealer to anyone.. They dont care about their customers after the car is driven off the lot.. (And i'm still waiting for a response back from one of the hundreds of messages I have left with basically everyone that works there) More
Dave Tober is very professional, very customer orientated and remembered who I was. Having this quality in a salesman wins with me. Nuno Ferreira is the best finance manager I have ever experienced since I received my license at 16yr now 33yrs old. He was honest, open and went the extra mile to help me and my family in our difficult time financially to help us get a deal with NMAC and payments. These 2 gentlemen should be applaud for their professionalism and expertise in their respective field. The dealers here are very friendly and try to work to get the best deal possible. They helped me with a new car when my credit is not great and a lot of other dealers turned me down. I came to the dealership with a 3 page list of cars from their internet site, only to find none of the 5 cars i was interested in were still available, which i found odd. Update your internet listings on a timely basis so people dont come in looking for cars that arent available. Roman was very personable and pleasant to work with. He was patient and answered all of our questions and found us a car within the mileage range and price we were looking for. Nisarge in finance was also patient and helpful in explaining all the different options on the financing and making some adjustments to the price. Mike the sales mgr also was very nice and helpful in completing our sale by replacing 2 tires as requested. The only issue I had was "add on" costs on top of the price that Roman had quoted. $740 for dealer prep on a used car, when basically they checked the fluids and adjusted the rear brakes, seems high to me. $599 in glass etching fee which they do to all the cars and you must take was another unpleasnt surprise. $410 for delivery fee sounds like a lot on a car that was a "lease turn in" and probably returned to the dealer. After further negotiation they reduced the price by $450 and we signed the deal. I realize the dealer has to make money to stay in business, but why not just quote the actual price they need to get for the car, (less tax) so the customer can more easily stay within their budget, and isnt faced with all kinds of unpleasnt add-ons, after the fact.
