They price every single car in the lot 6K and 7K dollars less than what they are willing to accept just to get more people in and try to talk them into a deal. Definitely the WRONG dealership if you are trying to save money and if you are looking for professionalism. More

FRiendly, courteous phone staff and salesman, but that's all the good news. After we negotiated a price for the car we wanted, we sat down with the financing guy. He tried to add: $599 for dealer prep, $999 for a "safety inspection" (the car was Nissan-certified pre-owned, so had already undergone a 142 point inspection), $500 for a loan acquisition fee (my credit score is over 700). Their documentation fee was $398, and the registration/titling/license fee was $299! They would not budge on any of these. We left. Went to another NIssan dealer and bought a car...paid $200 for documentation fee, $158 for reg/tags etc (dealer was out of state), and no other fees. Stay away from Route 22 Nissan if you like holding on to your money. More

I went in to look at a truck they had online and they didn't have the truck there anymore....which is how they get you to come there. Eventually found another truck I was looking for after the salesperso didn't have the truck there anymore....which is how they get you to come there. The trucks sticker price said it was $15, 575 then the salesperson kept me there for hours before deciding to tell me that the sticker price is for when u finance and put $2,995 down on the car. So now i wasted hours for no reason. And then the salesperson claimed he was going to try and negotiate the price with the finance people taking another hour or so and comes back with a price of $18, 900 for it. At this point i was pissed and i explained how much BS they put me through and the amount of time and energy that i wasted before letting me know the car was going to end up being $3,000 more than the sticker price before taxes and all of course. And the only thing i was told at this point was "Well if i felt the way you feel when i was buying a car i would probably just leave and not come back" and I replied "and right a review about the dealership and salespeople when you got home too....right?" So that's why I'm writing this review............ can't even eat I'm so pissed off!! Do yourself a favor and keep away from this dealer and there BS. More

I went to this dealer because of the attractive pricing and I wondered why their prices were so low. When I got there I realized why, they make up for their pricing with their high finance rates. When I asked could I use my own bank to finance they told me that the price would be higher if I dont use their bank. I have excellent credit and yet they gave me a ridiculous rate. By the time they added everything up the price of the car was nearly $8,000 more than marked. I walked out of there!!! They called me to come back a week later promising me "a deal". I kept asking that they give me a concrete answer on the pricing, which they could not and once again like a dummy I fell for it. I went down there again, which is no hop, skip, and a jump away for me because I live in NY and like a dummy I fell for the bait again. When I went down there for the second time again, the price went up about $6,000 after everything was calculated. I was frustrated wasting my time, money in tolls and mental energy on these people. The thing with this dealership is that they have banks they deal with that get extra incentives (money) from and they give these high finance rates even if you qualify for a lower rate so therefore they are able to underprice their cars because they make up for it with their APR rates. I went to a local dealership and it was nothing like my experience there, I ended up purchasing from the local dealer. Never again, this dealership is dishonest, misleading, and not to mention they have poor customer service. More

I am a customer at Rt 22 Nissan, as I purchased a Maxima there last year. I went in last week to look at a used 2009 Murano. The car was gone when I got there but Michael helped me by showing me some other options. I ended up going home without a car because the dealership didn't have exactly what I was looking for that day. I went back a week later after talking to Daniela about another Murano that was on the online inventory. She told me that it was on the lot and I drove in from Staten Island right after the phone call. When I got there, the car was gone. I know that it's a busy dealership and someone must have bought it since Murano's sell fast. Anyway, Michael showed me some other options again. I found a car that I was kind of interested in, but the manager (I forgot his name but he's the tall attractive African American manager) told me that if I was paying cash that he had to add on $1,500 to the price of the vehicle because I wasn't financing through the dealership. I was kind of confused because I always thought that the asking price (not the financial price with $2,995 down) was the price if you are paying cash. I asked to see it in writing and he told me that he doesn't have it in writing. I really do like the dealership. I had salesmen asking me the entire time if I needed their assistance and asking me if I was comfortable, and needed coffee or water. I found it very pleasant knowing that there were people there who were willing to help me, even if they were very busy with other people. The only thing that I would really like for the dealership to do is adjust the $1,500 price raise for cash buyers. Other than that, I will definitely be returning to Rt 22 Nissan and I recommend the dealership to all of my family and friends. It's not easy to find a dealership where the salesmen and managers are looking out for your best interest. More

When I approached the Gods in the back to check if they had any of the vehicles in stock, I was given a look that I felt I am annoying them with my petty nuisance and told to sit down and wait my turn to speak with sales. I left immediately and went to Nissan of Manhattan and bought my car the following night! Also, tell everyone not to ever go there. More

Our experience purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle was very good. The people we came into contact with at Rt 22 Nissan were all very polite, professional and accomodating We dealt mainly with 2 sale was very good. We had been shopping around for a week or so and came in contact with some very aggressive salesmen/managers, where we refused to return. Rt 22 Nissan was very busy on Sat, 9/24/11, but the staff at rt 22 Nissan made the experience bearable and helped in every way they could It was a true team effort from the salesman (Roman), the manager, the finance office. They were all team players with one goal in mind: "satisfying the customer." We would not only recommend them to all our family, friends and co-workers, but when we are ready to purchase another new vehicle , it will be a Nissan at Rt 22 Nissan. Thank you. More

My issue isnt with the experience I had while buying the car i purchased.. Its what happened after I purchased the car... On 6/30 I found a used car that i liked and took it for a test drive.. The car drove smooth and I was told everything was ok with the car.. Three days later as I am driving off of the highway, the power steering goes and I had to struggle to get the car back to my house. I call the dealer the same day and they said "well its a used car so bring it in and we MIGHT be able to fix it". I bring the car to the service department(rudest people I have ever met) and was told it would take a day or two to fix. Ok but the only problem there is I traded in my previous car so how am I supposed to get to work for one or two days. I asked if they had loaner cars(their answer was no), and was taken to a rental car place close by in hopes that they had a vehicle I could rent. $70 later (after I had already given the dealer a huge down payment) I have a rental car and was told they would call me when my car was fixed.. Well the next day I ended up having to call 4 times and was finally told "Oh yea it was ready since yesterday".. So I rented a vehicle for nothing when I could have just waited there for the car.. I pick up the car and am driving great until the same issue that they CLAIMED to have fixed happens again... The power steering goes out AGAIN!!! I called back and spoke to Sal and Rich in service and was told again "well it was a used car so we can't do anything for you now" since it was now 30 days later.. Overall I would never buy a car from this dealer new or Used nor would I recommend this dealer to anyone.. They dont care about their customers after the car is driven off the lot.. (And i'm still waiting for a response back from one of the hundreds of messages I have left with basically everyone that works there) More
