Dear Michael David Patnode, Here at Empire Ford we use all genuine Ford parts which have a 2 year unlimited warranty. Therefore, our parts may be more expensive than after-market parts which do not carry the same warranty and are not of the same quality. The cost for a 4-wheel brake job varies by vehicle and the work involved but I can assure you that $600 is a highly unusual rate to pay for a 4-wheel brake job installed. Typically, at that rate, the customer will either NOT be receiving Ford parts, or they purchase the parts on their own and do the work themselves, or they job is for a 2-wheel brake job and not a 4-wheel brake job.

The work was done with all Ford Genuine parts, not some crappy knock off. All 4 wheels complete. $1300 is not a customer friendly fee. I understand money must be made but that price was a huge overcharge.

Dear NOEMAIL3, We would like to clarify a few things and reassure you that we are in fact following CDC guidelines and taking all necessary precautions to keep our customers and employees safe. Each morning, the Service Manager, thoroughly cleans the dealership with hospital grade disinfectant in every department. ALL of our employees are required to wear masks and acrylic shields have been installed at each service advisor’s desks. When you checked out, our receptionist Kim assisted you and since we had run out of wipes in the office, she went into the service dept. to get another container and proceeded to disinfect your credit card before giving it back to you. As for the cost of your service, you requested to have FULL synthetic oil used for your oil change so the cost was higher since our Works Package includes a synthetic oil blend. We appreciate your feedback and the owner has instructed that any employee who is not wearing a mask, is to be sent home. Our customer’s and employee’s health are our top priority.
