Avoid this place like the plague, the manager(s) have no idea what they're doing or they do if their intent is to rip you off. This place just reinforces the stereotype of the used car salesman but adds incompetence to the mix, just save yourself time and aggravation and go elsewhere. Pereira is listed in the sales department, not the finance department & it shows, the clown should be nowhere near any finance inquiries. More

Bought a high mileage truck and part of the deal was to replace upper oil pan and fix mirror if I purchased it. They did so. I went to pick up truck and I popped hood to check it out and checked air filter replace upper oil pan and fix mirror if I purchased it. They did so. I went to pick up truck and I popped hood to check it out and checked air filter. Filter was dirty and needed to be replaced. I called them out on it and they said “o we were going to replace that when you come back for a sticker” yet no one told me this. If I never checked they wouldn’t have touched it. Few months later I noticed a wet spot on the upper oil pan and I took it in to be checked. Cost me $200 and they said it wasn’t leaking. I was okay with that at that time because it was such a small leak and I also just replaced a power steering line I figured Maybe it was from that. 7 months later I notice oil all around the upper oil pan. I call again and they said bring it in. I figured this time there’s no doubt they would do the right thing and replace the pan. Nope! Cost me another $200 and they said it was dry and there was no oil leak ya, it was dry because you cleaned it off with brake clean. I was told there was an oil leak on the frame from an aftermarket part that’s behind the transmission on the outside of frame. Please explain to me how that could magically blow forward and surround the upper oil pan when it’s behind it and below the upper oil pan? That’s not have gravity works. I’m assume because it’s Diesel oil in full of carbon the dye did not show up with if Uv light. If you want something done right you have to fix it yourself. They already got me for 50k and I will never spend another dime with them let alone trust them to even do a simple oil change. More
This dealership dropped the ball on a number of things regarding my purchase. It took almost a month to complete this transaction. Given the fact that I purchased this vehicle remotely and did not step foot into the dealership, should not result any differently than being physically present. The lack of returned phone calls left me wondering if this was a legitimate dealership.When I'd call, i'd get bounced around do different people and I wasn't always notified with whom I was speaking to. When messaging through text, I never knew who I was communicating with. Delivery of the vehicle via "runners" was extraordinary , with Ron and Ken delivering the truck to NY. The downside of this delivery is that I received only one key, no owner's manual, no documentation, such as my purchase invoice/receipt, no credit payment information. Unfortunately I'm really not sure if I could recommend Empire Ford, based on this transaction. The question above about would I recommend this dealership should have a "maybe" box. That I would have been more comfortable selecting. More
