Problem: irregular knocking noise coming from the left rear of the car, especially noticeable at low speeds. Also do 20K mile routine service, which on this car is simple. He then identified the cause, did a temporary fix, ordered replacement parts, and replaced the defective parts a week later. Problem solved. My only problem was with timeliness of the work. The service department needs a way to schedule and complete repair work more quickly for people who cannot get transportation to work or home. (If I lived nearby, these delays would not be a problem.) I brought my car in for an 8:30 a.m. appointment and told the service advisor that I would wait for it (I live 1.5 hours away in a rural area). The technician finally looked at the car for the problem around 4:15 p.m.! I returned on Friday of the following week to get the repair finished. The car was finally ready late Monday afternoon.
