I have spoken with Jason and my truck will be back in on Monday. I also spoke with Cale, but Jason was the one who seemed to actually sympathize with my situation. After explaining to Cale that I removed my alternator and starter and had them tested at 2 locations myself, he still wanted to tell me about possible unseeable problems. I honestly feel like the outcome will be an attempt to trade in my current truck and roll extra money on to a new loan. As a consumer I can't just pay to replace my electrical system 1 piece at a time until something works. Again I am at $410. So far for " a BCM reset, and to be told that the mechanic agrees my key cylinder feels sticky" Can't do $1800. More to replace a battery cable and working starter, on a "Maybe/Maybe not" No refund if it does nothing to help.

After returning my truck to Nick, he was able to look further into my specific issues and determined that my starter was drawing far too many amps, thus straining my electrical system down. I ended up paying for the starter with a discounted labor cost, and it fixed the issue. Appreciate the help and hard work. Understood it was difficult to diagnose without any engine codes. Great job and thanks Nick.
