He took me through all the controls switches etc, then I requested another ride which I took on the freeway. And that was the saleing point I needed. There was no hard sales from Tim we went through the paper work with ease. I left that evening with a New Cherokee. Neil Blair greeted us with such enthusiasm and he really took care of us through the whole experience! From listening to our car wants/needs, to finding the perfect car for us, he made us coffee while waiting and he even transferred all of our belongings to our new car (due to the late time and time in financing) He was so so wonderful! Lied to about interest rates! I was preapproved by Capital One. Based on the Capital One website I expected an interest rate of 2.49%. The dealer representative said they checked I was preapproved by Capital One. Based on the Capital One website I expected an interest rate of 2.49%. The dealer representative said they checked with Capital One and my interest rate would be over 4%. I expressed surprise and the representative said they would recheck. They rep then came back and said with only 60 months financing the interest rate would be 3.18%. During the signing of the paperwork I again expressed my surprise to the lady handling the transaction (Susan) that Capital One was charging me a higher rate that I expected. The morning after I purchased the car I called Capital One and they told me they quoted the dealer 2.49% regardless of whether I financed for 72 or 60 months. I then called the dealer and was referred to Susan's voice mail. I left her the information I got from Capital One and waited all day for a call back. In the late afternoon I called again and said if Susan was not available could I talk to her manager. The receptionist told me that Susan was not available and she did not have a manager. Further, the receptionist told me that there was no manager that I could talk to. Subsequently, around 7PM Susan called me and said they could rewrite the contract at the 2.49%. I do not understand the game they were playing by lying to me about the interest rates, but it is clear that they were lying when they kept assuring me the quoted rate was from Capital One. More
