They do NOT care about the customer at all. All they care about is the money. My experience started good with Alex the sales rep. He was nice and respectful and showed me the truck I was looking at. He started showing me the numbers and I respected the price and the $30k down and $1,300 per month payment he started at. Obviously I couldn’t and would ‘t do what he started me at so we started negotiating. I also had a truck I was going to trade in as my down payment as I have equity on my truck. Had it appraised and has about $10k. Per Alex, they really wanted my truck. Things shifted as soon as his “Senior Sales” rep Lock showed up... He told me they DON’T want my trade-in and asked how much down I had without the trade. I explained to him that I wanted to use the trade-in equity of my truck and told him how much my truck is worth and he practically yelled and laughed in my face!! He was very disrespectful and didn’t even show me any options. I didn’t yell or laugh at them when they asked me for $30k down and the monthly payment as much as a mortgage payment. Lock just tried to intimidate and bully saying he had 10 years in the industry but was not even willing to negotiate. This is not my first rodeo buying cars at a dealer and I was not impressed at all with Elk Grove Dodge. I didn’t want to make a big deal there so I walked away and called Alex the next day and asked for Lock’s manager or supervisor and Alex told me they were very busy and that they called him to the showroom and had to go. He told me he would call me back in the evening, but still waiting for his call back... Don’t waist your time at this dealer as they do not care about the customer only the money... More
