The check-engine light was not related to the recall repair. During the visit, our technician identified an extremely clogged engine air filter and recommended replacement, which was declined. The restricted filter affected the vehicle’s airflow system and subsequently triggered the check-engine light. The maintenance recommendation was documented at the time of service in which you declined. Whenever you are ready please give us a call so we can help you take care of your vehicles maintenance!
