I am glad that I chose Elgin Hyundai. The whole sale went smooth and not stressful at all. I found the car I wanted on the Internet and then went thru Trevor (Internet Sales) and got hooked up with Joshua Ha smooth and not stressful at all. Joshua is an excellent sales person as there was no pressure and he had the vehicle ready when we first arrived for a test drive. Josh answered all my questions and I got a great deal on the vehicle I wanted. The price was excellent and after the deal the Financial person (named Marina) was great to work with as we wound up getting an extended 5 year policy for maintenance. Joshua sold us the protection package and I was really thrilled with what that was as I now have the whole underneath of the vehicle coated with a protective coating that will also deaden the noise of the road. Josh was very friendly and took his time thru each step of the sale ... I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a new car. I will also recommend the Hyundai Santa Fe to anyone looking for a nice SUV as it is really the same size as the 4 door Blazer I traded in. I am VERY pleased that Josh gave me a great price for my trade in too! Great people to work with here at Elgin Hyundai. At the end, Josh took us around the dealership and introduced us to the Service Dept Managers and then to the Sales Manager, RIch Rius who also gave me his card in case I needed help or any questions. Started with the internet department, liked it enough to go to the store and was passed on to salesman Dave Taub. Overall experience was positive and I was able to get the price that I wanted (only means t go to the store and was passed on to salesman Dave Taub. The two salesmen I dealt with were Dave and Kevin and both were friendly, low-pressure, knowledgeable and very helpful salesmen. They were efficient without rushing me answering all of my questions. They seemed genuinely excited and proud of their product. I rated Elgin Hyundai lower because of my experience in the Finance Department. I felt the Sales Manager tried to get me to purchase extras that I had already refused under the guise that it was my only way to keep my financing to 72 months. Now I know why I've always paid cash before because I felt the finance department was deceptive. With all that being said, I would still return to Elgin Hyundai because of the sales staff either with full payment in hand, my Credit Union financing me or knowing now what to expect when I finance with a car dealership.
