The third party service is actually owned be the dealer and they "Will not sell a car without the coverage". I bought a used car from them 2 months ago (I paid 40k for the used vehicle) have had it for 2 months and the transmission is going out. This place is definitely quantity over quality. First of all, do yourself a favor, (like we should have done) and read the the reviews about this place. We purchased a car from them, then ofcourse signed the agreed amount (less some additional charges dealerships always add on). We met a guy called Victor and he at first seemed to be a nice guy. Gave us advice on why we should get an extended warranty to which we agreed. We later drove away and upon receiving the paper work from him, our purchase amount had gone up by a literal $2,000 if not more. For a week (we have proof) we sent this dealership emails and left voice mails asking them to fax the original paper work we signed with our agreed amount. They did not send and till today have not sent. Eventually I got fed up and literally had to call their dealership like 32 times in a row (I have proof) till they got annoyed with me and wanted this thing resolved. We finally got to talk to the once nice Victor and he was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. It was like I was having a conversation with a 3 year old. We asked him why he had added certain things to the total that we had not agreed to and he said "It is what it is, what do you want me to do about it". Then proceeded to hang up. We e-mailed the General manager who was helpful but did not provide a reason or resolve as to why we were treated that way, neither did he apologize nor offer any sort of sensible calm. So the General Manager calls us back (This is about 2 weeks after we started asking questions) and confirms that indeed like $1,500-2,00 extra was added without our consent, however they could only reimburse us $900 of that. NO APOLOGY! NO OWNERSHIP! NOTHING! I'm not even sure how this is legal that they can even admit to adding fees but offer no refund. So they have given us back $900 but I am still in shock. It makes sense why they were so rude and dismissive because this is what they do and most people get tired and let it go. FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. THIS IS SO WRONG AND ESPECIALLY WITH NO APOLOGY????? SHAME ON YOU HYUNDAI ELGIN! More
I am very disappointed in this dealership. Was in for service Anthony was my visor and when I brought my car home I noticed my backup camera and remote start (both are aftermarket) wasn’t working. I called and informed Anthony of this issue an brought my car home I noticed my backup camera and remote start (both are aftermarket) wasn’t working. I called and informed Anthony of this issue and he said bring back next day! Later that same night after getting off work I’m driving down Lake st and my heat shield fell from bottom of my car and was dragging on the ground so I pulled over and had to get a ride to my house as I was still about 15 minutes away and didn’t feel safe driving it home. I called the next morning informing Anthony of the situation and after him letting me know sometimes that happens (it’s never happened to me and I’ve never heard of this happening) I told him I need a tow and that I will not be paying for the tow due to this wasn’t my fault that this happened and after Anthony speaking to supervisor he agreed! I went back to the place that I had installed my remote start and backup camera and he said that the device that they had installed was uninstall by someone and cut all the zip ties they used to keep their wires together! Needless to say I’m very disappointed with the work they did on my car!!! The work that they were to do was oil change, steering wheel issue(I’m still having same issue) and headlight/taillight issues (changed lightbulbs way too often/ might’ve been a connection issue) More

To my surprise, the dealership gave an extended warranty on the powertrain to 240 moths, 200,00 miles. Hyundai believes in their cars. Highly recommend them to do business with!! More
